So thankful for this family diner. Both my husband and I were HUNGRY after traveling and exploring Petrified Forest National park- and had a two hour drive ahead of us back to Sedona. We initially went to a different establishment (Mesa), but it was clear they were severely under-staffed..There was no acknowledgment for at least 10 minutes- (bad sign) so we took a chance leaving and came to Bienvenidos, and were seating quickly and offered drinks. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and my husband got ribs and brisket. Overall, we left full and our waitress was super friendly. I also loved that the restaurant offered a multitude of booths for seating, as it made it very cozy. Thank you!

Had the brisket and ny strip best meal ever!! The fries are to die for and the potatoe salad was better than mine. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone traveling and staying in Holbrook Arizona!!

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to AZ and had a great experience. Everything tasted fresh. I ordered the half smoked chicken, which came with a salad and two sides. We also had the ribs and the kids’ burger — the patties were nice and good quality. We tried the coconut pie and it was excellent. Tonia was very helpful and sweet, which made the experience even better.

I ordered take out. I know family-owned businesses have a rough time with technology but the website has a menu that must have been severely outdated unfortunately. When I called (the number on the online menu), they told me I must be viewing another restaurant's menu because they didn't know the dishes I was asking about.
It also said the dinners came with choice of soup or salad plus 2 sides. It does not come with soup or salad unless you use it as one of your sides.
Finally, the prices were WAY off. I got the BBQ Meat Combo which was $17 online but got there and was charged $25. Should have been $40 for 2 people online and when I got there the bill was $55. So don't trust online prices or options.
As for the food, unfortunately it was pretty mediocre. Again I got the meat combo - the fries were fantastic (by far the best part of the meal) and the veggies it came with were great. The actual meat, which said it was brisket and pork, was interesting. It wasn't bad, but just wasn't what I would think brisket is. The pork was like slices of dry pork.. not carnitas or pork chop style. Again, mediocre but not bad.

Long haul on Route 66 all day, rolled in at 7:30pm—the chicken fried steak and wings were both fire, gravy on point. Awesome service, everything spotless. Solid gem in Holbrook!

Had dinner, family of 4. Told to seat ourselves, No Menu. Took a few minutes for waitress to come by. Food prices are ungodly high. Almost $40 steaks, $16 burgers and $13 cheese quesadillas. (Other reviews discuss extremely high prices) Ultimately, Order chicken Caesar Salad with chicken, green chili cheese burger, and cheese quesadillas with beans and rice. Spanish Rice was crunchy like rice crispies and the chicken was so dry and tough. Reminded me of jerky. I was asked if everything was ok. I explained the food issue to the server. Her response….. she gave me the check. No drink refills, no offer of the deserts. In fairness the pies did look pretty good. We got the hint. Went to pay, I noticed that the Caesar Salad was not the price on the menu. Asked for a correction. She said she couldn’t make a correction, didn’t offer to correct overcooked chicken or the old dried out rice. Neither of which we ate. I gave up. Whipped out the credit card to pay. She states there is a convenience fee. Also not listed on the menu. It just infuriates me to feel like I’m just getting taking advantage of. There is a reason locals don’t eat here for dinner.

The food at Bienvenidos was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. I’ll admit, I didn’t expect the food to be this good, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We started with the BBQ smoked wings, and they were so savory that the flavor lingered long after the last bite. I ordered the burger with pepper jack cheese—it was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. The fries were also enjoyable and well-seasoned. I kept it simple with just water to drink, and even then, the meal was completely satisfying. The entire place was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated—even the bathrooms were spotless! I would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

I was asked if I wanted soup or salad with my meal. As the price was higher than other restaurants, I assumed it came free with the meal ordered. Found out when paying bill … no! The soup looked and tasted like it came out of a walmart can, meat sauce too. The meat sauce had way too much salt. I couldn’t eat it. Bread tasted like it had been fried on a unclean grill .. all I could taste was greasy meat. Absolutely awful. I spent $30 for it and 1 beer .. went away hungry.
