“What a great experience, my husband and I stopped to eat at this fine Italian restaurant after a long drive from San Diego. Not only was the food and service fantastic. We were very appreciatively blessed with a meal that one of the patrons of this restaurant paid for, We are both truly grateful and thankful to whomever you were for such a kind gesture.”
“Great food! The best American homemade food we’ve had in 5 days of travel. It was our friends birthday and the ladies surprised us with grilled ice cream and a birthday candle:)”
“Highly recommend. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. So many antiques to look at to appreciate. I wasn't a fan of carrot cake until I tried theirs. You be the judge. I'm glad we ate there.”
“An excellent ‘Dhaba’ in the middle of the Arizona desert. Stopped to use the bathroom on the drive over, and the ambience was inviting, so decided to check it out.The good is beyond excellent. We had paranthas, chhole bature! We he kids were so super excited, they did t wait for me to take a picture. They were eager to dig in.After eating to a full tummy, they wanted to take some more of this wholesome goodness to go! We placed a second to go order for the next meal. This is a definite stop by or drive over to eat at. Keep it up you guys. Very clean, super welcoming with the service, and out standing food.Vegetarian options: They have a super large vegetarian selection and all options are outstanding.”
“We stopped there after a visit to Petrified Forest, it was very busy and had minimal wait staff so the wait for stuff took awhile.....but the food was EXCELLENT. We had eaten once here a decade ago, and it was good then, but this visit was excellent. We had one order of simple ground beef tacos (very good), cheese enchiladas, and chicken enchiladas. I normally eat a bite or two of beans, or don't finish them, but not here. Their beans were different and tasty and I definitely ate them all. I recommend if you want some good Mexican food while passing thru Holbrook, Petrified Forest.”
“I dropped my RV not far from here in order to do day trips for 3-4 days. First night had cheese ravioli….excellent. Second night had veal piccata, also excellent. Third night pizza….very good. Tonight had veal Marsala, excellent. Chocolate molten lava cake…..excellent. Ronni and Jessica……great bartenders! Highly recommend Mesa Italiana!”
“The best hamburgers with tator tots and onion rings we’ve had in a long time. Clean bathroom and area. Service was great and answered our questions without attitude. We’ll be stopping here again.”
“Tom & Suzie’s Diner. Monday, 18 March 2024.My first 5!! Best diner for a thousand miles.Had the club sandwich and fries. Spot on. Great sourdough bread, perfectly proportioned. Great flavor. The fries were piping hot and crispy to the last bite. And they serve beer with lunch! My girlfriend had the vegetable quesadilla which she said it was fantastic. She said the salsa and guacamole were home made.Service was great. The bathrooms were up to date and very clean. The inside was new and impeccable. The prices are cheap too!! Great pies and cheesecake on display. Incredible menu!!Definitely worth the stop. To bad they close early some days.Parking: Lots of room out back for trailers.Kid-friendliness: Endless menu”
“Food is fresh. They make it in small batches so they don't stay om the try for too long. It taste really decent, not too strong on the seasoning on flavors especially considering the price.”
“Passing Through and wanted a Good steak. We had a Great Steak! Staff was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is great. Prices are reasonable. Best Teak on Route 66!”
“Stayed at the LaQuinta and had delivery. Was glad to see they had more than just Chinese food. Ordered the ground round steak, baked potato and salad. Wow really good steak, quality and size. My baked potato was not the usual russet but a Yukon gold and cooked perfect. Service fast and good. I recommend Mandarin Beauty!”
“So sorry to hear you closed! Our family fondly remembers the warm hospitality and delicious food we experienced on our Rt 66 trip last year. The 6 of us got some of everything and all agreed it was one of the best meals of our trip. Even the Cokes tasted better than other places!”
