“Super cute retro dinner. Service was great and fast! We shared the smoked chicken wings, I had the brisket dip, and my BF had the green chili burger. Everything was amazing. Totally coming back if we return to visit Petrified Forest or Holbrook.“
“This visit was my first time here. We were instantly greeted and able to seat ourselves. Our server was quick with bringing our drinks and taking our order. The food was made quickly and I'd say we were out within 30-40 minutes of arriving due to the quick service. The "Sunset margarita" was great, although I'd recommend using sugar for the rim instead of salt and stirring a bit as the sweet syrup was at the bottom of the glass. We ordered: an open face burger with green chili and fries, a green chili chicken chimichanga, & water to drink. The food was fantastic and full of flavor! No leftovers were taken. Their green chile was also a bit milder than others I've tried. I would say it was a bit pricey as the bill came to about $48 with the tip.“
“Tom & Suzie’s Diner. Monday, 18 March 2024.My first 5!! Best diner for a thousand miles.Had the club sandwich and fries. Spot on. Great sourdough bread, perfectly proportioned. Great flavor. The fries were piping hot and crispy to the last bite. And they serve beer with lunch! My girlfriend had the vegetable quesadilla which she said it was fantastic. She said the salsa and guacamole were home made.Service was great. The bathrooms were up to date and very clean. The inside was new and impeccable. The prices are cheap too!! Great pies and cheesecake on display. Incredible menu!!Definitely worth the stop. To bad they close early some days.Parking: Lots of room out back for trailers.Kid-friendliness: Endless menu“
“This was our first time dining at Butterfield Steak Company. The steak I had was really good. Cooked properly, seared well, flavorful and well seasoned. If all the other dishes were done as well as the steak, I would have given 5 stars. Vegetables should be cooked to order, not left to steam. Rolls should never be microwaved, and the portion of steak fries was small. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience that could have been great, but for some attention to detail.“
“Stayed at the LaQuinta and had delivery. Was glad to see they had more than just Chinese food. Ordered the ground round steak, baked potato and salad. Wow really good steak, quality and size. My baked potato was not the usual russet but a Yukon gold and cooked perfect. Service fast and good. I recommend Mandarin Beauty!“
“So sorry to hear you closed! Our family fondly remembers the warm hospitality and delicious food we experienced on our Rt 66 trip last year. The 6 of us got some of everything and all agreed it was one of the best meals of our trip. Even the Cokes tasted better than other places!“
“Hands down one of the best if not the best shredded beef chimi in AZ. Green chili sauce definitely homemade with lots of green chilis. It was spicier than the red sauce. I didn't have much of an appetite but I completely wolfed this whole chimi down it was so good. Oh and the fried ice cream was the best too. They use a fried cinnamon sugar tortilla bowl that was flakey and fit perfectly with bites of ice cream. Lovely low key local diner with full bar. If we ever come through Holbrook again we will be stopping here.“
“We had the most amazing experience with Jason. He ensured our belly’s were full and that morale was up. An exceptionally ran establishment with little room for improvement. Now the good word says that Jesus does love us and he must think kindly about the staff in this beautiful little restaurant as well! Godspeed.“
“We ordered two Navajo tacos with meat, one red and one green. Both were delicious. The sauces have just enough heat without making the food difficult to eat. The Navajo fry bread is sooooo good. The chips and salsa are pretty basic. We also ordered the chicken enchiladas dinner with rice and beans. The enchiladas and beans were fantastic, but the rice was very overcooked and bland. Our waitress was attentive.“
