“Fantastic food and drinks. I got an Asian chicken wrap while my daughter got bbq pork street tacos. Some kind of pink drink was the special of the day. Made with coconut milk. I have no idea how they made it but wowza! Everything was very yummy and flavorful. Took a while to get our food as the place was packed and noticed they have a heavy flow of takeout orders coming in. So completely understandable. Service was excellent. Bathroom and dining room very clean. I travel through Show Low quite a bit so will definitely be coming again.“
“Best views and place for dinner on the mountain! We eat here often and have gotten to know most of the staff, who are always professional, friendly and a joy to be around. We absolutely love the Short Ribs (dinner menu), Cauliflower Crust Pizza and the Gluten-Free Pizzookie!“
“Absolutely loved this place! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel super welcome with their amazing and sweet service. Every bite of the sandwiches was like a flavor party, and the soups were like a warm hug on a chilly day. The salads? Fresh, crisp, and dressed to impress. Definitely coming back for more of their mouthwatering eats!“
“Culver’s is always a great option for food you know will come out hot and tasty! ? Visiting the area and stopped in for a late lunch. My only note is a lot of the booths were dirty but we may have come in after a rush as I did see workers cleaning as we were eating. Id definitely eat here again!!“
“Pretty good, but the power has been down today. I had a Reuben sandwich ? and good. Wife had a variety fried stuff. Wings, chicken, skins, cheese sticks stuff. Was ok, but will go by when the power has been fine. NOT A BUSINESS OR PROPERTY OF WILD BILLS TAVERN AND MUSEUM.“
“Our waiter was extremely flexible and was able to help each of our 7 group party (most of which were crazy and picky kids) kindly and effectively with a great attitude and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We gave her a $30 tip and she deserved every dollar. KrisAnna was her name and we definitely loved her!Kid-friendliness: The waiter made sure that each of the kids were taken care of and got their perfect meal. They got to order off the adult menu so they could have leftovers and all had customizations to make and she handled them beautifully!“
“We popped in for a family birthday and the building is beautiful with super cool decor inside. Our server Ian was warm and friendly and had no issues helping our large group. The menu is has a good variety and some of the dishes were delicious but the salmon was a small portion and lacked flavor along with the salad. The brisket was juicy and packed with flavor but the cornbread was dry and bland. I would still come back to try some other dishes and feel like others should experience it themselves too!“
“Huge portions! Seriously ridiculous... but super delicious as well. So, that would be a true win - win! I took a cinnamon role home... the size of a dinner plate! Can't wait to return.Update - I returned a couple times already. I had the Son Of a Biscuit... winner!!“
“The food is awesome. Love their salads and soups! Can never go wrong with the grilled cheese or quiche here! My favorite time is when the garden patio is open but the inside is cute and cozy too in winter! Haven't tried dinner yet, but that's next!“
“The Hungry Buffalo is an incredible restaurant. The owner, Scott Waddle, always makes sure that their customers are well taken care of. They have the best Prime Rib in the White Mountains. They have the best Friday Fish Fry in the White Mountains and they have the Best Pizza in the White Mountains. My wife and I love the place and are often there with friends!“
“Delicious food. A bit on the healthier side too. Had the special po' boy fish sandwich.4/12/24 here again. Dinner this time. Great service spent a little more this time (beers) $20 to $30. Special BBQ pork sliders tonight. Good but...the buns were cool rather than heated. I think heating the buns would enhance the meal. Going to try the pork wings next time. Really , pork wings? So can pigs fly?“
“If you want cheap and fast, go to DQ. But for delicious, quality ice cream which is worth the price (and calories!) go to Mountain-Dream. Maureen was very friendly and patient with us even though we walked in right before closing time. The coffee ice cream was excellent and made with coffee roasted by Pinetop Coffee House - another must when in town.“
“Small locally owned restaurant. Can be very busy at times especially during the weekend. Our wait time was 30 minutes, however there were other restaurants we visited prior that had wait times up to an hour. I believe help was the biggest issue with the long wait times as our server was all over the place tending to other customers. The food was average for brunch nothing that really stood out. It's a far better choice than chain restaurants which I tend to avoid.“
“food was good, expected it to be more like traditional bbq rather than chain but still good. Portions a little small, but sides were good. The drinks were a bit expensive, and i expected the sweet tea or lemonade to be made in house like a traditional bbq spot, but was just Lipton/Minute Maid - not sure why that's $3+. Coupon from the website made the price fairly reasonable, otherwise would have been disappointed in value for dollar. BBQ sauce in a sealed retail cup had no heart into it which is unfortunate.“
“My husband and I are new to the mountain and we love to eat out, we have been to Charlie Clark's a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is soooo good, love the atmosphere on the enclosed porch area, and my favorite dish is chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes smothered in white gravy, it's to die for, my husband's is the Prime Rib and enjoys every bite. The entire staff are top notch, friendly, professional and all are a delight to have conversations with. We usually try to go weekly to get my chicken fried chicken fix for the week, lol, check them out, you will not be dissapointed.“
“This is a fun place with good food. They are a little slow on the service—it’s an order at the counter joint but they’re busy and it takes a while to get your food. The quality of the good is great. The taste is great and everything is hot and fresh. They could do a better job cleaning tables but they are busy. Would eat here again for sure.Vegetarian options: There are no meat salads and appetizers but it’s primarily burgers and sandwiches.“
