“We stopped there after a visit to Petrified Forest, it was very busy and had minimal wait staff so the wait for stuff took awhile.....but the food was EXCELLENT. We had eaten once here a decade ago, and it was good then, but this visit was excellent. We had one order of simple ground beef tacos (very good), cheese enchiladas, and chicken enchiladas. I normally eat a bite or two of beans, or don't finish them, but not here. Their beans were different and tasty and I definitely ate them all. I recommend if you want some good Mexican food while passing thru Holbrook, Petrified Forest.“
“This visit was my first time here. We were instantly greeted and able to seat ourselves. Our server was quick with bringing our drinks and taking our order. The food was made quickly and I'd say we were out within 30-40 minutes of arriving due to the quick service. The "Sunset margarita" was great, although I'd recommend using sugar for the rim instead of salt and stirring a bit as the sweet syrup was at the bottom of the glass. We ordered: an open face burger with green chili and fries, a green chili chicken chimichanga, & water to drink. The food was fantastic and full of flavor! No leftovers were taken. Their green chile was also a bit milder than others I've tried. I would say it was a bit pricey as the bill came to about $48 with the tip.“
“So sorry to hear you closed! Our family fondly remembers the warm hospitality and delicious food we experienced on our Rt 66 trip last year. The 6 of us got some of everything and all agreed it was one of the best meals of our trip. Even the Cokes tasted better than other places!“
“Hands down one of the best if not the best shredded beef chimi in AZ. Green chili sauce definitely homemade with lots of green chilis. It was spicier than the red sauce. I didn't have much of an appetite but I completely wolfed this whole chimi down it was so good. Oh and the fried ice cream was the best too. They use a fried cinnamon sugar tortilla bowl that was flakey and fit perfectly with bites of ice cream. Lovely low key local diner with full bar. If we ever come through Holbrook again we will be stopping here.“
“It’s hard to find truck parking next to authentic places to eat. So sick of the typical fast food places. The vibes as soon as you walk in just make you feel comfortable and at home. The people here are super friendly and I knew before I even got my food that it was going to be delicious! I got the #6. 2 bites into my burrito and I’m in LOVE!!! I will definitely be back!!“
“Just had the pleasure of dealing with Reilly(sp?). We refused to use the kiosks and he stepped right up and took our order. Food was ready and tasty quick as lightning. He actually served FOUR customers and had all our orders ready in less time than it took three millenials to place their orders at those sorry kiosks. The poor kiosk kids were still fumbling around trying to get their payments to work by the time the rest of us finished eating our meals, got refills on drinks, and left. Reilly needs to be seriously commended as he completely blew those new horrid kiosks outta the water. Now THAT is customer service at its pinnacle and TB needs more employees like him. Not even one hour earlier we walked out of the TB in Payson, AZ because the staff refused to serve us at the counter. This guy personally saved two lifelong TB customers and saved the company who knows how much bad word-of-mouth PR. We will continue to return as long as we receive stellar, personal, customer service such as this.P.S. This guy was also quite effectively handling a busy drive-thru window while helping us customers at the counter. I'd like to see your kiosks do that, TB.“
“We ordered two Navajo tacos with meat, one red and one green. Both were delicious. The sauces have just enough heat without making the food difficult to eat. The Navajo fry bread is sooooo good.The chips and salsa are pretty basic.We also ordered the chicken enchiladas dinner with rice and beans. The enchiladas and beans were fantastic, but the rice was very overcooked and bland.Our waitress was attentive.“
