We chose this restaurant for its proximity to the Tesla superchsrger. Good choice.

They had an excellent chef salad that we enjoyed for a sit-down meal on the road. The ham might have been a little salty, but the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, olives, and egg were spectacular. Best way to hydrate.

Service was friendly & attentive. Plenty of parking & seating.

If you're looking for a good place to eat on the historic Route 66, try Camaleon Cafe.

We visited the cafe on Friday night, the food was good as always, but the prices were appalling. 10 bucks for a milkshake, almost 4.50 for a non alcoholic drink. French toast overpriced as well as a sourdough burger almost 15 dollars used to be 9 dollars and was ordered with no onions and arrived with onions. We used to be able to eat there as a couple for around 25 to 30 dollars. 54 plus dollars I understand that costs are higher but that is absolutely ridiculous. As a local customer you don’t expect to be screwed over with price gouging when it was an attempt to support a local business owner.

WELL WORTH A STOP!!!!

This might be the BEST hidden gem I've found along all my travels!

Food was DELICIOUS, well cooked, and great portion sizes. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and sweet! And the prices, can't beat em!

Plus, the CUTEST little rings for sale!!!

The food was fine but a glass of tea, is outrageous and a tiny dab of guacamole was also outrageous. No senior or military discounts. This will be my last visit and will not recommend it to anyone.

Great service but terrible food. And it was extremely expensive considering it's a greasy diner. $25 for a breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee after tip. I will never eat there again.

Cute little cafe. Clean inside and friendly service. My open face roast beef was fantastic. Swimming perfectly in a dark flavorful gravy. The roast was thin, tender and delicious.

Our food is always delicious and hot, and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get

Food was good , service was as well. But I honestly cannot believe they charged us $5.99 x 3 for chocolate milks and then I noted my breakfast cost more then what it said on the menu and we were not aware of the double charge for the coffee like come on tell people. $65 was a lot and not what I calculated minus tax. I hate to say that it was probably because we are white. But I'm pretty sure that is why. DONT COME HERE IF YOUR WHITE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF....
