Very disappointed in the maxwell street polish!! I remember going to Jim's on Halsted in Chicago in the 80's and 90's and this is a pitiful version of that classic! The sausage had a tough skin and no "bite" as good polish sausages have. There was no snap like natural casings have. Besides the flavor and texture of the sausage being off it was served luke warm and without mustard as advertised. Also no sport peppers but I didn't miss those because I don't remember Jim's ever having those... Kind of a bummer as the pizza puff and mozzarella sticks were good and the gyro and beef sandwich had been good on a previous visit.

Old Richfield service station converted into a nice roadside restaurant. Food is fresh, prepared and wrapped well for dining here or to go. Delicious chili cheese hot dog, not spicy, so bring the heat if preferred. French fries were AMAZING and served hot!

My son had his first Chicago Dog here. We each had one. It was the best Chicago Dog I've ever had. The next day we got 2 more. The next day he had one and I had a gyro. The gyro was very good.

Delicious hot dogs. I especially liked the chili on the hot dogs. We also tried the dill pickle cheese curds which were tasty! Highly recommend the chocolate iced coffee. It is simple but refreshing and the sorbetto was excellent in the drink.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is made fresh. I've been there around 4 times now. I've had the chilli cheese fries and the Chicago dog and their pastrami and roast beef sandwich. Everything is amazing and the pricing is surprisingly reasonable for the amount of food they serve. The restaurant itself is interesting as being a retired gas station. Really need to stop in and say hello to Isabel, she makes amazing sandwiches.

Such a great place-an old filling station turned into a hot dog spot!! Looks great inside and the food is amazing! Has some other options than hotdogs as well- the Greek fries are amazing!

As a Chicago native I count myself incredibly lucky that I found this awesome spot for authentic Chicago dogs while driving through Holbrook doing the tourist thing. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. Even if you’re not hungry grab some dogs to go and eat them later. If you never had a Chicago dog you need to try one. You will never go back to eating any other hotdogs again.

I got the Guido and it was absolutely phenomenal. This is the closest to authentic Italian style sub I have found from Flagstaff to Phoenix. The onion rings were amazing. The prickly pear lemonade was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Will be making another trip to try more menu items. I loved the route 66 atmosphere
