Ordinarily I do not leave a review-maybe never. But this place was such a surprise in this dusty little town that I encourage you to stop. The food is good! It turned out to be quite clean inside with a nice little store. Bathrooms were spotless as well. The food was appetizing and delicious! I ordered a chicken chimi. I tried both the red and green sauces and both were so good! Not too spicy for me. The chimichanga was stuffed with shredded chicken breast, topped with a melted cheddar and diced onions. Had a tiny bit of shredded lettuce and tomato on the side. I would have liked more lettuce but didn’t take away any stars because I feel she would have given me more had I asked. My husband had a chicken burrito covered in red sauce and enjoyed his as well. You won’t leave hungry or disappointed here!

I can't speak to the motel. But the restaurant is pretty fantastic.
Wife and I came in, were quickly seated and attended to. Food was pretty good for a Sunday night; I had combo fajitas and my wife had a combo plate. The prickly pear margs were excellent.
Service was great and establishment was clean; I recommend it to anyone passing through Holbrook on 66 or coming from the National Park.

Elisabeth met us with chips and awesome salsa and delivered wonderful service. The food was epic! The Navajo taco with the green chili sauce blew my mind and the Chicken Fajitas were packed with flavor as well! There is a reason El Rancho is still around after all these years: rock solid recipes combined with warm hospitality. It won’t let you down!

Food here is delicious. Just the service is very slow. The waitress ignore you unless you are their assigned table. It took forever to get our food but it was good though. Almost enough to make up for the slow service.

Delicious! We stopped here on our way from AZ to CO. We got fajitas, a staple for us at Mexican restaurants, and the flavor was outstanding! The chicken and veggies and the guac tasted very fresh and well seasoned without being too salty. Gracias El Rancho!
We came into town after a long day looking for a warm delicious meal and saw this quant family “Mexican” restaurant… We were quickly disappointed… My boyfriend ordered the chicken fajitas which came cold, chewy, and dry… my dog eats better than that. I ordered the Navajo taco which was cold, soggy, and no flavor. This small family owned restaurant we tried to give the benefit of the doubt was just not up to par and very disappointing. Please do not advertise Hispanic cuisine if that is not what you’re serving…. You’re serving nothing but food that may or may not give food poisoning…
