No longer open. Was sad to see it was closed since we were super excited to visit on our Rt 66 trip

Okay - it’s not eye candy to look at all - but once inside who really cares when it’s all about the food. Notice the constant stream of locals coming and going? Hint, hint... this is the real Mexican place you have been searching for in Holbrook. Parking on the street can get crazy but they have a parking lot as well. The food smells as delicious as it tastes! The service is friendly as are the customers so go and enjoy your piece of Mexican eatery heaven. Ask about the movie “Cars” and you’ll hear history as it was made. Go! Go! Go!

Not open. Looks like it has been closed for quite a while.

The food was awesome, the customer service was excellent, the atmosphere was terrific. We were traveling Old Route 66 and that was the highlight of our trip. Looking forward to our next trip and Joe & Aggies will be a must stop.

I love Joe and Aggies! Stan usually greets us when we get to his restaurant after a night at The Wigwams. Their juevos rancheros is so good even my hubby will break from his usual scrambled to death eggs. I believe his employees are family with a vested interest in the place. Always the best food served by the friendliest people!

Breakfast at Joe & Aggie’s is a must when visiting Holbrook’s Route 66. Friendly service, gift shop, and mini museum. Never been there for lunch but I’m sure it tasty too.

Stopped off on our way to Petrified Forest. Staff friendly and nice. Lots of Route 66 memorabilia inside. Huevos Rancheros were delicious and my companion had the pancakes which were very large and fluffy.

This small Cafe on Hopi Street caught my eye from across the street. I got there after the breakfast rush and was seated as the last of the early crowd was leaving. The walls had paintings, family photo's, old city newspaper articles, and just about anything you could find in this high desert city. Mom was the cook, the eight year old got my water and hot coco and the granma brought my 2 over easy, with hash browns andd bacon. They were friendly as could be and I would go out of my way to eat here again.

The food was ok. The service was great. I would not go back again, but it wasn’t an awful experience.

Very nice personal history story by owner- we have been to a lot of route 66 stops but we talk about this one a lot!
