After a long day driving and visiting Petrified Forest, we visited for dinner. The Italian restaurant is separate from the sports bar side. We got the last table in the Italian side. We had two servers making sure we were happy. The garlic bread was great and the eggplant Parmesan was excellent. The chicken Jerusalem was full of garlic and very tasty. Maybe it was the hiking but this was a great dinner choice.

Nice little restaurant close to Route 40/66 in Holbrook. Stopped here while traveling across the country since we wanted to see the Petrified Forest NP and Painted Desert. We were in the mood for pizza and we are happy to report it is delicious! Service was prompt and friendly. The pizza dough was amazing. Toppings were generous and the 16" pizza was more than enough for two of us - 3 pieces leftover. Just what we craved.

Love love love this place!!! I went in on Valentine's Day and the owner happened to be there and gave me a box of chocolates! I was alone in the area on business and she made me feel like I came home to a home cooked meal. The bartender was also an angel and the waitress did a fantastic job. You guys have something special going on with your restaurant.

Dustina was our waitress extroidinare with a glowing smile. It was Valentine's Day, so they were packed, but that did not slow down the service or courtesy. Can't wait to go back!!

I will start by saying the pizza was okay. So we had been stuck on I40 for 5-6 hours due to a road closure. We finally made it to a hotel in Holbrook and the desk clerk recommended Mesa as it was walking distance from there and we had barely found a spot to park our truck. We called at 8:30 and asked if we could still order take out and were told yes so we ordered a pizza. After our 10 minute walk IN THE SNOW, we were rudely greeted by a male waitperson that was annoyed that we walked in at 8:40. He literally loudly complained I quickly let him know we were only picking up a to go order. As we were waiting, a couple that was also stuck in the same traffic, walked in and the same server threw a temper tantrum and was incredibly rude to that couple. He reluctantly seated and served them, but he made sure to keep sighing loudly each time he poured their water or went to their table. He was complaining nonstop and saying it had been a long day. Yeah for all of us travelers too! His behavior was absolutely unacceptable and made the experience awkward and uncomfortable for everyone. I would never recommend this establishment.

Great little restaurant. Very friendly servers. We were constantly checked on. We both had chicken Parmesan and it was really good. The spaghetti was average. It won't be the most amazing meal you've ever had but considering you're in a small town I thought it was really good. I'd eat here again.

The food itself was fine, but not out of the ordinary. The pasta with red sauce was relatively bland, but the chicken parm was tasty. The lava cake was alright, but in my opinion, it lacked a bit of the "lava" part since there wasn't a lot of chocolate ganache. The ambiance of the restaurant wasn't anything exceptional either, but it was clean and decent. The service we received from the restaurant was fine, but overall mediocre. I understand there were a limited amount of servers for the number of tables that needed service, but the following pretty much tainted the experience: My partner and I went here to dine since we had a gift card to use. When we received the check, the server did not give us what we had remaining on the gift card as they claimed it was a "donation" to the restaurant. We had to ask the server to ask their manager if we could use the remaining funds on the gift card to order other items, and they seemed hesitant and didn't provide a guarantee that we could. However, the server asked anyway, and we were able to use the remainder of the gift card. My problem lies within how we had to ask to get our remaining gift balance back AND to use it when we had funds still left on it. Had we not asked to use it, we would have been essentially robbed of our remaining gift cards funds, which was a decent amount. When we were told we could use the remainder of the gift card during the same visit only, we decided to get another meal to-go. The only problem we had with this was the additional time that was spent on the meal being made. Had we known from the start that we would need to spend the entirety of the gift card, we would have ordered everything at the same time to ensure time efficiency. In the future, management should consider being transparent with guests regarding limitations in using gift cards. *** FYI, the gift card was not something that the restaurant had donated itself in anything. Rather, someone actually paid for it to gift to another person to use.
