Asylum Restaurant Reviews
I love the Asylum!!! It’s a bit pricey but my food has always been good!! The butter nut squash soup is amazing! It’s now a staple every time I visit! The cheesecake is to die for…as is the crème brûlée. The staff has always been pleasant and sweet! I’ve been told a few times, there are better places to eat in Jerome. But I’ve never had a bad experience or bad food.

Food seemed good and the views were amazing but we had slow service at the end and ended up with food poisoning. It is a fun place and your experience may be better!

Asylum Restaurant is known for its delicious food, with standout dishes including butter nut squash soup, cheesecake, crème brûlée, and burgers. The restaurant is set back from the busy tourist hub of Jerome, offering guests a beautiful setting and stunning views. It is a popular choice, and while it is on the pricier side, many find it worth the cost. The food is great, and the drinks, like the copper camp Old Fashion and El jefe margarita, are well-made. Guests often praise the staff for their friendliness and attentiveness, and many recommend making a reservation to ensure a great experience. Though some feel there are other places to eat, many reviews highlight that it is a must-go spot in Jerome. Visitors have enjoyed desserts like crème brûlée cheesecake, which is creamy and rich, especially when enjoyed on the porch with relaxing ambiance and views. The location is somewhat hard to reach but is worth the effort, offering a unique atmosphere that reflects its history as a hospital and haunted hotel. The menu includes excellent options like pork loin and butternut squash soup. The decor has been described as granny decorated style, slightly dated but fitting the cozy vibe. Staff members, such as the waitress Courtney, are praised for their friendly service and helpful recommendations, making guests feel welcomed. Overall, Asylum Restaurant combines good food, friendly staff, and a charming setting that many look forward to visiting again.
