“Well full transparency... I am a giant Manor James Keenan fan and have always wanted to go to Jerome and cottonwood to merkin and their queen bee locations however I am just an average wine fan. I'm very much a bourbon guy but I do love a dry red wine. My wife who grew up in Northern California and is a bit of a wine snob is also a big mjk fan. However like myself had very low expectations of the wine because it is from Arizona.

My wife booked me a trip for a week in cottonwood so we can explore the surrounding areas. Tonight's itinerary included going to merkin and Jerome in sampling wine. Walking in with very low expectations I proceeded to get the red wine flight and my wife a collaboration flight that I don't remember exactly the name of. (Maybe 843 or something like that) We were both stunned how robust and flovorful yet smooth to the palate each one was. Myself not being a wine person was blown away with how much I was enjoying each sip and the look on my wife's face with each sip she took. She shook her head and said I was completely wrong about her preconceived notions of half assed wines from a rock star.

I would be remissed if not to mention the employee that was serving us and telling us the details and stories of each wine. She was an exceptional ambassador for the wines and truly made the experience more enjoyable. Forgive me for maybe not remembering her name but I believe it was Kristen. I was even more stunned to find out she's only been working there for a year and 10 months because her knowledge said that she had been in the industry for well over 20 years. So for wine lovers and non wine lovers like myself I highly recommend a visit to this little mountain town and please leave your preconceived notions at the door and enjoy the experience they have to offer.“

“Finally got to stop there! This is the first Winery that I really enjoyed Every red blend. That was very surprising and super pleasing! My first choice was Willy. My husband who prefers whites really liked the Le Blend. We bought a bottle of each. We both did the flight tastings and did Not dislike a single one. “We stopped in on a Friday night for a bite to eat before going to a comedy show. We had the charcuterie, and some wine 🍷 and finished the meal off with chocolate cake! it was quick and satisfying 😎👍 Looking forward to trying the Brunch soon!“

“Although the place was small, the sample flight I had was great and the staff was knowledgeable albeit a little awkward. My only real complaint was four of us seated could barely fit with our flights, one glass at a time would be easier and more in-depth regarding tasting. The vibe was nice though and finding parking wasn't too bad.“
