I came in late one night last week after work, maybe after 8, there was only one other person in the restaraunt besides the staff. The waitress graciously took my order and brought me my dinner. At about 845 I asked what time they closed and the waitress told me 8. She explained that she knew I worked at the mine and that many are required to work very late so she was happy to let me slowly enjoy my dinner. I warm thank you to the staff of G&J. What a great place! My wife & I drove up from Gilbert because we hadn't been to Kearny. We sat at the bar, and Lucinda treated us like family; the service was prompt and warm. Javier was meticulous in checking the cooking oils for soy -- wife has an allergy -- and they couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.

It's always a pleasure to eat at G&J's. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly, and the food is always hot and tasteful. The only thing is.... you can't be in a hurry.
