Food was very good down to earth home cooking I don’t get a chance to eat at these truck stop restaurants! Plenty of food for the lunch 🥗 I got. I got the surf n turf. Very big delicious lunch. I skip dinner that evening I was stuffed. Restaurant has that comfortable homey late 1970s feel ! I’ll eat here again ! Thanks
Been waiting so long to enjoy ironskillet again. However, a lot has changed. Clearly , its no longer made from scratch. I expected the new smash burger to actually be a smash burger, not a frozen pre-made nasty patty. Let me educate you on what a smash burger is supposed to be. Begin with raw beef burger ball, place on hot griddle and butter, then smash into patty while cooking. This is how you get all the flavor caramelized and therefore, the uniqueness of why its a smash burger!

Had the ground steak mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Hubby had a bacon cheese burger and fries. Also had garlic parm bites. The garlic parm bites were good. Hubby said the cheeseburger was good. Nothing extraordinar. Ground steak was rare on half of it. Odd that it wasn't in the middle. I ordered it well dne. Mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were cold in the middle.
