Kusina de Maynila is a beloved hole-in-the-wall restaurant serving authentic Filipino cuisine. The staff is warm and kind, making customers feel welcome and is super friendly. The food is cooked on the spot, taking a bit longer to arrive, but well worth the wait. Menu items include pork lumpia, pancit, and sisig, as well as chicken adobo over rice with a spicy kick. The food is phenomenal, generous, tasteful and delicious. It is a small restaurant, more suited to carry out, and is super clean. You go up to counter to order your choices and food gets served to your table.
It’s like walking into a favorite hometown eatery in Manila, with the aroma of delicious food cooking in the back kitchen. Dining in is a little loud and chaotic, but that’s part of the charm! The place is small and casual with about 10 tables, often busy and packed—a sign of great food. Family-owned and operated, Kusina de Maynila offers a big selection of drinks and different menu options, including Tocilog (pork) with garlic rice and eggs and Lechon (fried pork belly). With huge portions and delicious flavors, it’s a must-visit for those new to Filipino food or looking for a flavorful meal.
