This property is nice a retro. Didn’t have handicap rooms available, so had to carry my Oxygen Concentrator up the stairs; ?, the room was clean however when I opened the nightstand, there was an suspicious smoking device; I Don’t smoke, this was glass. With Kleenex I carefully picked it up and took to the front desk and told her that I had found this. She wasn’t quiet sure what it was either. Otherwise the room was clean and fresh smelling. The clerk who checked us in was great! He even gave us an upgrade. The hotel was in need for updates and didn't seem all that clean to me. We got 1st floor rooms but they were still a walk up stairs (not too great for hubby and sister's knees). The hotel was right on Route 66, so it was convenient for us.
(Review is from earlier in the year before covid-19 was everywhere) I visited one morning and the lady behind the counter was very friendly and answered all of my questions. There were lots of tables to sit at inside. The lady was from Hawaii, always a bonus for me since I'm originally from Hawaii, and she told me she made her own version of malasadas which is a Hawaii treat.
