“Iam from Texas so I know authentic Mexican food and Iam also a former army chef .Today was my first time visiting jjs and the owners greeted me at the door the place was clean . I ordered 6 street tacos carne asada price was 14$ which is a great price . The salsa , and cilantro mix was cut that day The limes were juicy . I love this place moving from Houston Texas and to Arizona i was saddened because I believed there weren’t any good authentic Mexican food till today ! From food to experience honestly it’s more than 5 stars but google only lets me put 5 . Try it for your self .“
“It's a fast food place sometimes the food is good sometimes you have to make them do it over, sometime service is good sometimes it's not. People you are dealing with people who are at there first job have no idea what customer service is your not going to get 5 star service nor are you going to get a healthy 5 star meal. Just remember why you stop at these places .Last visit to Kingman Jack in the box the rest room's were a disaster,dirty, broken door latches, it shows a lack of care for there sanitation in my opinion this lack of care would carry over in to the food prep area.“
“I had the Taco salad made with carne asada. I was expecting citrus marinated tasting beef chunks. What I ate was chunks of meat that tasted like it had been boiling in sea water,had been freezer burned,reheated by brazing in a sautee pan to kill off every last microbe left. I've had in the past,the chicken, shredded beef,and ground beef. All were excellent! I love the salsa bar, it has a very nice amount of selection to choose from. The pickled carrots and jalapenos are pretty awesome! The decor and atmosphere has a very authentic looking taco shop vibe,and has above par cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and helpful ? It's what makes me keep coming back. If you want a quick bite to eat while running errands it's a fantastic place to dine. If your looking for a restaurant to use as a wedding rehearsal dinner,I don't recommend it.?“
