Hostess not so welcoming setting the 'tone'. Bar woman too busy to also be our server. Food was good, decently priced except ice tea highest I've paid in Havasu restaurants I've been to ($5 bucks, no refills I was given). Also only restaurant I've experiencd in Havasu.charging % fee for using a card.

The steak was old and covered in garlic and butter to hide the age…. Everything was over seasoned…. This is the first time I have ever went to parking lot and puked…. Immediately felt better…. My fiancé couldn’t eat her chicken….we went home and made sandwiches…

The place was terrible,! The owner/manager was extremely rude and people all over were complaining! He did not want to correct anything. Therefore, we will NOT be back.

We took friends to dinner and cocktails. Our bill was just under $200. We’ve had apps there before but our meals this time were disappointing. Chicken was tough, although mushroom sauce was tasty, the menu description indicated artichoke, I did not taste or see any. My husband said his scampi was inedible and disappointing, and salmon was extremely dry. Definitely a kitchen issue because service was great. This was our third visit and probably won’t be back!

Excellent service from Start to Finish... absolutely NO bad things to complain about. My wonderful wife looks for stuff too. I'd rate this establishment a 5+ of out 5.

We came to this place last Saturday, and were seated in the back. This place is dingy, with old carpet, and tables just placed around. We were seated in the back for the first time and not feel like a restaurant, let alone a nice steakhouse, more of a garage with carpet and tables. The server was pretty friendly, came over and we asked how the old fashions were, he said really good, so we ordered four. They were the worst old fashions of our life, they had soda water, tons of ice, and the cherries used for sundaes. We asked for a different drink bc they were intolerable. The bartender, Amanda, seemed offended we didn't like them. We had explained how they were disgusting, like who puts club soda in an old fashion, but she tells us, it's on the menu. We were not told this when we asked the server. So, she tells us, "ok let's talk money." So, we agree to pay for half of the garbage drinks. Then ordered crown and cokes, jack and cokes (which was Pepsi, but no big deal, even though they said they use coke cans, no it was Pepsi). We weren't trying to get free drinks, but just the attitude, making it seem like we were trying to come up on free drinks. The groups food was decent, except the pepper crusted steak, it was just too much pepper, but it was described as pepper crusted, so not their fault. The pork chops were pretty juicy, and they did bring a brownie for desert, so that was a nice touch. Even though this was my third time visiting this establishment, this will be my last, and I would NOT recommend this place. Save your money, and go to Chili's, where you would prob have a better dinner, with friendlier service.

Went for happy hour. Bar was full and would not honor it any other seating. Obviously, they need more bar seating area!

Absolutely phenomenal service from Amanda, the hostess! We called about ten minutes out to ask if there was a special and table availability. She said they were really busy (5:30 on a Wednesday) but offered to hold 2 seats at the bar for us. By the time we got there a high top had opened up so we took it but again they were so busy that after about 10 minutes we'd only received waters. Amanda was checking to see if any tables had opened up, she noticed we'd not been helped so she immediately took our order! She then followed up, brought our drinks & side salad even while still serving as hostess! The loaded steak nuggets with mushrooms & onions had a good flavor but they didn't come out as hot as I would have preferred, a few bites were on the cool side but again the place was slammed. The pita triangles with it were soft & fresh! Took a bit to get the actual steak out as Amanda got pretty busy but we were able to flag down another server who graciously grabbed the steak and gave me a refill on the lemonade. We weren't in a hurry and given how busy they were it wasn't an issue at all. But if you need prompt service I'd recommend not going at happy hour!

The service was SO SLOW that when the waiter finally did take our drink order and eventually delivered it, I completely forgot I had ordered a beer! Thank goodness I did because after the waiting time I definitely needed it. After our drinks were delivered we waited another 20 minutes for the waiter to return to take our food order... Which I had to get up and ask the hostess for ANYONE to PLEASE take our food order. The food came out at an appropriate-enough time.We were never once checked on during our meal. Drinks never refilled. The hostess and busser were so sweet we actually tipped them cash and thank'd them for giving us attention (which is a sad story itself). The restaurant was not at full capacity and there was an adequate amount of servers per occupied tables. The bill for 4 people was $180 and I wish I would have taken my family elsewhere. I was ripped off.

It's an all-around good place to have dinner, but by no means is it an upscale 5 star restaurant worth the price of your meal. If you don't worry about spending unnecessary money, then definitely eat here. I've never been dissatisfied by the quality, only the portions.

I have to first say we have been holding off on returning to Montana's because of the mix reviews this restaurant has had since the change of management/owners. Our first time back tonight, from start to finish, our experience back was definitely far from the bad reviews we have seen, it was just like before! Maybe even better. The ambiance could be updated, I feel like because of the lack of updates or old furniture, it brings down the facility and doesn't equate to the higher pricing of the menu. Though, compared to other restaurants you are truly getting what you pay for... it's yummy!! The twice bake potato was heavenly, this sets them apart from most steak restaurants in the area. Overall, the one star or bad reviews do not equate to what Montana's is, yes all restaurant have their bad moments but they do not deserve the slander they have been receiving. The staff is wonderful, we had Michael as our server and he truly was so nice. All who came to our table tonight (12/29/2023) were attentive, they even gave us a pitcher of ice tea since we complained the cup size was small. Truly service with a smile. Thank you staff, we will be back! For those who are in the fence, definitely come and check it out for yourself.
