About Montana's

The Montana Steak House offers a friendly and attentive dining experience. The host promptly seated guests, and the bussers were helpful. The service is generally good, with staff being friendly, efficient, and helpful. The menu features popular items like clam chowder, salads, rib eye, and pork chop, which are well-received. Recent reviews highlight that diners were happy with their orders, noting the prime rib was cooked to the right degree of doneness and that the fish dishes were nicely prepared. However, some diners mentioned that the loaded baked potato had cooled into a slightly unpleasant lump and the fries were cold.

While the restaurant receives positive feedback for its service and many menu offerings, some aspects need improvement. The parking lot is a concern, being described as an embarrassment and a fall hazard. The ambience is pleasant, although some found the lighting a bit too bright. Overall, the Montana Steak House continues to be a great place for families and has a bar in the back with entertainment, making it a spot worth visiting again. Prices are fairly close to what diners would expect, leaning toward the high end of the range.

I came in expecting a great steak, but the beef stroganoff completely stole the show. It was rich, creamy, and full of tender beef—comfort food at its finest. Honestly, it tasted just like something my grandma used to make: hearty, homemade, and made with real care. You don’t find flavors like that very often anymore. If you’re looking for a dish that feels nostalgic and incredibly satisfying, this is it. I’ll definitely be back for this alone.
