Sorry Sams, you have the best service and atmosphere, but the food is just better here.

The food is good. The staff is friendly and very good at their jobs.

This was our first visit to Peggy's Sunrise Cafe and we absolutely loved it, I would give 100 stars if I could. It's a small place off the beaten path, but it is definitely worth going. We had breakfast and it was wonderful. I had the chili cheese omelet with biscuits and gravy, and my wife had steak and eggs with toast. I am a snob when it comes to biscuits and gravy but I try them everywhere I go, and have to say these were some of the best I've ever had. The omelet was amazing as were the hash browns, both had a wonderful buttery flavor and were cooked to perfection. The steak was ordered to medium and was perfectly cooked and delicious.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were attentive without being obnoxious or overbearing. The restaurant itself is quaint, brightly lit, and inviting. They have both tables and booths for seating. We got there early and got a booth with no wait, but when we left there was a line outside of the door.
We will absolutely be going there again and again.
A month later and we are back again. Another fantastic breakfast with wonderful service.

Food was good for the price. If there was an option to do stars based on price it would be 4/5.

Service was stellar.

Biggest downside is it is a hole in a wall diner that has a regular wait. It's not much different than any other diner I have been to.

Any time I'm in Lake Havasu City, I always stop at this Havasu staple.
The food is always fresh, hot, tasty, and an example of 'hometown cooking'.
The staff is friendly and helpful, while the cooks are always on point.
If you don't visit Peggy's Sunrise Cafe, you're missing one of Havasu's treasures.

The culinary experience was average, marginally better than Denny's. The servers were attentive, and the price was average for breakfast. I would expect better quality from a cafe like this. The corned beef hash was from a can.
