A true locals place. We always enjoy breakfast at Peggys when we're in town. Good food at reasonable prices and the wait-staff are always very nice & efficient.

Loved this little out of the way all American country type diner! The food was simple but so good, and the waitress was the sweetest young lady and very good ay her job. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

When i would come to visit my folks years ago, we always,went to peggys sunrise. Good food, very reasonable prices. In 2024, i took a friend to breakfast, chose the omelet special with coffee. With the tip, it cost me over $50 for breakfast for 2. Trust me, not coming back.

Small hole in the wall, huge menu selection and it probably doesn't have to be on it as the special washings a pork variation of the menu item listed!

We ate here once. Entirely locals that give the impression (at least to us) that they eat here nearly every day. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as they welcome respectable new customers or at least, avoid scaring them away.
Lake Havasu can be really strange, even to people that live here. If, at an establishment, they do not know who you are, you run the risk of being treated like you are invading their territory. At a lot of the restaurants. I do not understand this, considering Lake Havasu City caters to winter and summer visitors, those that have second or third or vacation homes. There is a lot lacking as far as what is available for full time residents. For that reason, I do not understand those who work in the service industry that act as if it is beneath them to provide (customer) service.
But, at least at Peggy's, we received decent enough service and food.
It is not close enough to the lake (or at least positioned right) to have a good view and is in an industrial section of the city.

This was our first visit to Peggy's Sunrise Cafe and we absolutely loved it, I would give 100 stars if I could. It's a small place off the beaten path, but it is definitely worth going. We had breakfast and it was wonderful. I had the chili cheese omelet with biscuits and gravy, and my wife had steak and eggs with toast. I am a snob when it comes to biscuits and gravy but I try them everywhere I go, and have to say these were some of the best I've ever had. The omelet was amazing as were the hash browns, both had a wonderful buttery flavor and were cooked to perfection. The steak was ordered to medium and was perfectly cooked and delicious.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were attentive without being obnoxious or overbearing. The restaurant itself is quaint, brightly lit, and inviting. They have both tables and booths for seating. We got there early and got a booth with no wait, but when we left there was a line outside of the door.
We will absolutely be going there again and again.
A month later and we are back again. Another fantastic breakfast with wonderful service.
