Starbucks in Lake Havasu City

“This is a standard Starbucks with plenty of seating. The coffee was good even coming from the single serve machines, like you see at gas stations now. I redeemed a free tall (small) coffee offer from the Starbucks for Life game, but the coupon code appeared not to work. The staff treated me like I was some grifter, scamming Starbucks out of tall coffees, even though the offer was in the app and they scanned my barcode. They commented that I probably used it already....or someone else had, but could not explain how it was still showing in the app. They grudgingly gave me a free coffee though they could not get it to ring up as free. I looked at the receipt in the app and it showed the coupon had just been redeemed at that time...and also disappeared from the offer tab. Alas, redemption, I felt! I ran back to show the barrista that I was not a crook, but she did not care and told me not to shove my phone in her face. Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic about proving my innocence and misinterpreted her lack interest as poor vision, thus holding my phone in for a closer look. My apologies, no disrespect intended. I would like to say I will not go back to that location, but I probably will. Every other person treats you like garbage these days. Just how it is.“

I spent many long days at this Starbucks while working remotely, and the crew here became a small but steady part of my daily routine. Kind, consistent, and always in good spirits — they helped turn a tough season into something manageable (and even a little joyful).

A special thank-you from Meegan, my little dog who looked forward to every visit. They always greeted her with warmth — tail wags included — and it meant more than they probably know.

You made our time in Havasu better. Thank you for the smiles, the drinks, and the quiet support that made a big difference.

“i read the reviews for this location and almost drove past and suffered another 45 minutes without my morning coffee on a long drive, but i decided to stop anyways. i felt the need to come and leave a 5 star review because i had such an easy/seamless time and it was not at all like what some other people seem to be experiencing. they were out of cold brew because of their fridge being down but outside of that the two girls working were so sweet and swift. positive experience !“
