We took the wrong turn at the end of exit 293, just north of Camp Verde. We were planning to go to a different restaurant, and the first place to turn around and course correct was the parking lot of this delightful family ran Mexican food restaurant! It was set to open a few minutes after we drove into the parking lot, so we decided to change our plans and give it a go. The line up started before the doors were open, so we figured it must be good. What a delicious, happy accident!...
1st time to try this restaurant. Great service, our server got busy and a different server came over to make sure we were good. Food was excellent, Fajitas were great and huge. Charro beans are good. Tortillas were perfect. Plenty of parking in back, we didn’t notice that at first.
The food was good, nothing overly fancy was true to the flavor. However the service was absolutely awful, after getting our food the server completely disappeared, I had small issues with my order nothing crazy however due to the lack of service I wasn't ever able to ask to fix my meal. The one time the server did approach us towards the end I got completely ignored, so I gave up and asked for a to go box to which I was ignored again, again the food was good however the service...
