Lazy Palm Sports Grill

We stopped by for Happy Hour. At around 4PM the bar was almost full but we grabbed the last 2 spots at the corner. We started with a couple beers. Cold but not icy like we like them. There was one bartender and she was kept hopping between the bar and filling table orders.

After a bit, we ordered 2 Happy Hour specials, 5 chicken wings with lemon pepper and 8 hot boneless chicken wings. The bone in and boneless wings were both large and tasty. Both came with blue cheese sauce, carrots and celery. When the menu said hot, they meant HOT. But that was fine for me.

The bartender was great and the folks at the bar seemed to be mostly regulars. We recommend stopping in.

Friendly staff, good food (especially the shrimp). Great karaoke spot on Friday nights. A hidden gem in LP!!

Taco Tuesday when the Mexican restaurant next door doesn't do it. Great tacos and sliders with cheap beer.

Went in for breakfast at 10:10 in the morning, we were finally served with drinks about twenty minutes later. We put in an order for food as soon we could and the server finally came up to us to take our order, it was a bigger woman with brunette hair. After placing our food order, we waited over an hour and a half for food to come out. The waitress finally came to the table and we explained how long we had been waiting; she looked at us and said “so what do you wanna do”. Waitress was awful and her service was absolutely terrible. Waitress decided to have an attitude instead of finding a solution to the problem with her only job. Lastly, other tables had been served with food and drinks quickly and those tables had come in long after we had sat down. I do not recommend coming here at all… We left before even getting our food.

Best burgers around, for sure! Lots of options and styles of burgers, and the portion size is out of this world.

Great food! Nice selection of sandwiches and burgers and unique options that you don’t normally see on the menu, sports bar atmosphere. I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll go back. My one recommendation is they need a better filter for the tapwater.

Can’t beat the prices and portions. The atmosphere is hometown friendly! It’s like our own personal Cheers. Have some good American food and watch some sports. Local entertainment at times too.

I am extremely unhappy with the service we received. I’ve honestly never been so surprised by the level of rudeness from a bartender/waitress.

My husband, son, and I came in on a Sunday after golf. We placed our order, and 2 of the 3 meals came out incorrect. Mistakes happen, so that part wasn’t a big deal, however, everything went downhill from there.

Another waitress (not ours) noticed something was off and asked if everything was okay. We explained the issue, and she said she would let our waitress know. We watched her relay the message to our waitress, who was behind the bar. Our waitress responded with a dismissive look and said “no.”

After that, our waitress never returned to our table at all.

Instead, the other waitress came back to us and told us it would take 30 minutes to fix the meals. The way it was presented made it feel like we were being discouraged from having the order corrected, as if we should just accept the incorrect food.

Meanwhile, our actual waitress continued helping other tables while completely ignoring us and giving us uncomfortable looks. She appeared irritated to be there and treated customers like an inconvenience.

We eventually spoke with the manager, who was very helpful and resolved the situation. Can’t express enough how helpful she was. Unfortunately, the experience had already made us so uncomfortable that we couldn’t wait to finish and leave.

I understand everyone has an off day, but this was beyond that. I won’t spend money somewhere I can’t relax and enjoy my meal. As long as this level of service is tolerated, we won’t be returning. This is unfortunate because we are local and it was our favorite burger spot.

It was our last night in phoenix and the worst meal we had on the trip. We all had the steak sandwich which came out cold and full of gristle. It was also the worst cut of meat I have ever had.

The server was less than interested in being there and most of the staff gave us the feeling like they were looking forward to the end of their shift. Bottom line I would not recommend this restaurant

I wanna love this place because it’s nearby, great happy hours, cool place, but geezus the service times have been terrible in my 2 experiences here. The servers have been polite, but the waiting and waiting and waiting is ridiculous. Seems like they don’t have the staff to handle the covers and or the GM or owner has failed at training the staff.
The only reason I mighttttt go back, is bc Noemi asked us what was going on, heard us out. Seems like there is no organization for the patio. Servers not knowing what table ordered what item is wild.

The food and vibe here are great, which is why we’ve come back more than once. However, both visits had very long waits just to place an order (around 45–60 minutes). On our most recent visit, we waited over an hour without anyone taking our food order. Drinks took about 20 minutes, and service unfortunately went downhill from there. I hope the service improves because the place itself has a lot going for it!
