I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family I bought chocolate flan and it was most definitely tres leches and none of the packaged food had dates as to when it was packaged/prepared, it was very dark inside the establishment when I went @4pm I questioned if they were open a young teen employee was playing music so loud & only turned it down when I ordered he then proceeded to blast music to full volume as I was leaving. I just had a bad experience completely. This older women was standing behind the guy taking my order with her arms crossed and giving me rude looks as I ordered she never smiled and I was the only one in there, kindness goes a long way maybe don’t glare at your customers? Was she mad because I wanted jamica and she didn’t make it idk.. Also they have a marijuana smoking vendor event on set Saturdays and me being a mom of little children and teens I don’t want my kids around that type of environment, it’s not for us. The owner did make contact and offer a full refund and personal explanation I declined it was a nice gesture but I won’t be returning. I’ll just enjoy el giro they are family friendly, have amazing food and also have jamica.

Awesome food, freindly staff.
I always come here to pick up their Red Menudo for my parents because they are always so nice and welcoming. By far, this place has the best Red Menudo I've ever had. You can really tell that they take their time in preparing it!

I can say I'm quite disappointed in this local place. I really enjoy the food here, but seems more and more you guys aren't even open. 10/29/24 drove by at 5:30pm and were closed even though says your open online.

I loved my pollo salad. My friend wasn't impressed with his shrimp or fish tacos, but thought the carnitas one was great. We both loved the salsa cart. Everything was fresh, and the pico de gallo was excellent.

The food has always been decent but my husband called tonight to place a takeout order and it was as if the girl who answered was drunk or high. She asked him his name 5 times. It’s Jeff. Not that hard. Then she asked him if he can be there in 10 minutes. Then asked if he could be there in 5 minutes. Then after wasting all this time said she could take his order. He tried to order a carne asada taco salad. She said they don’t have taco salads on the menu. He said it’s on the menu on the website. She then asked him to tell her what’s in a taco salad. WTH??? He just hung up. Something weird is going on over there. If they’re like that on the phone then I’m afraid to eat their food.

Their food is fantastic. They are always kind and hard working. Their location uses to be a market of sorts that was super run-down, dank, and smelly. The owners of el campeon cleaned it up and made it much more hospitable and cleanly. The bathroom is well maintained and clean. Their menu has a little bit of everything for everyone and they do well on every single dish I’ve had. They are also quite reasonably priced. They have a selection of daily specials that are on sale or limited time. They employ a very hard working and kind young man that has autism. I have read some reviews that bash on him for being “strange” or “in a rush”. Overall the establishment is kind and hard working with great food!
Parking: Big dirt lot that wraps around the building.
Kid-friendliness: There is a wide range of items for kids to choose from
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no difficult areas to transverse, the counter is fairly low. The bar is high though

really great food! Well Worth the drive !
Huge Waste of time multiple times going to the food truck and now to the restaurant and closed every time when said to be open. I will no longer be wasting my time and fuel to support an unreliable business
