“my 2nd visit,,, this time i took my wife and great granddaughter, once aain had the country fried steak and eggs,, was as good as i recalled,,, my wife had a fruit dish which was fresh and crisp,, great grand daughter had scrambled eggs and a pan cake which disappeared which was surprising as this never happens way to go Lunas,,,,,,,, will return”

“I've been enjoying Mona's frybread and tamales for at least 18 years and have found none better! The awesome red chili is cooked on mesquite wood! I live in Tucson and the 27 miles one way to Mona's is well worth the drive! The tamales are good-sized and the masa to meat ratio is great! Also, no fillers like potatoes, carrots, etc. Mona always asks if we want olives. Hubby really likes her green corn tamales, but I'm stuck on the red! I can't recommend Mona's enough!”

“Every year we have Chet’s Christmas Bash , Monday before Christmas we all celebrate the holidays together. Great food people are in the cheers mood which is great . Everyone dresses as Santa. “Came in at 1915 on a Monday. For being end of day dining room was clean and staff members working were super friendly! Sandwiches were great with sufficient toppings. Would stop at this store again in the future.”

“We took our parents here after some leisurely walking on wild burro trail. The ambiance and service was stellar. They welcomed our large dog with so much kindness, bringing him ice water and snacks. Every staff person we encountered was professional and accommodating. The food was excellent. You will pay resort prices, but with the views, service, and vibe, its very much worth it.”

“Small shop, but uses space well. Nice clean area for picking up pre ordered items. A couple tables for in cafe eating. Staff is very competent and helpful. I wanted to cut back the sugar content of my smoothie and they suggested a couple ways to do so.”

“We had both dinner one evening and breakfast the next morning at CORE during our stay and both meals were excellent!

Dinner was definitely the highlight. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling overly formal and the mountain views create an incredible setting, especially around sunset. I ordered the short ribs and they were absolutely phenomenal, easily one of the best meals I had during our trip. Everything was beautifully prepared and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed.

Breakfast the following morning was just as enjoyable. There was a great selection of options and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to the pool.

If you’re staying at the resort, CORE is definitely worth visiting. Between the food, service, and beautiful setting, it was one of the highlights of our weekend!”

“German chocolate shake???? Ummmm YES!!!! Never been as from out of state, referred by a local park ranger earlier in day (Thank you Ms. Ranger) and stopped on reverse trip back to hotel. Everyone in car very happy, shake, iced coffee and hot coffee, so many choices🤯, wished lived local but we will find another before we leave for home. Your Sunday night ladies were fabulous, wish knew their names to thank properly.”

“Jake is the best customer service representative. Matt, in the meat department, is really good with people. The meat manager will totally help you by ordering what you need. Cashiers are kind. Store is super clean. The quality of food is upscale. View of mountains from the store front seating is outstanding. The store has a Starbucks and hopefully they will get a gas station soon. Oh and I like the Safeway app reward system as I can earn points to get $1 gas. Thank you very much Safeway!”

We had BSCW&T at the Tucson Quarter Midget Association Track last year and are happy they still attend and serve our families during race weekends. 10/10 (We love the fries and the buffalo chicken is mouth watering!)”

“Category: Eclectic Hotel Bar Restaurant. Based on a recommendation from friends, we dined al fresco on a not-too-warm mid-June evening. Seating is available inside at the classy bar or in the well-appointed bar area, but the plentiful outdoor tables and lounge areas have a great view of the mountains, thousands of cacti, surrounding landscape, both planted and wild, and the flames from the fire features at the nearby pools. Our friends said the sushi was excellent and sent me a screenshot of the sake list, which was short but well-curated. As it turned out, the menu is an eclectic mix of southwestern dishes, a steak, a burger, and a couple of Hawaiian and Japanese-ish dishes. The sushi and sashimi are limited, but complemented by a selection of maki. We enjoyed the hamachi sashimi (vey fresh and buttery), one of the maki, and the Ignite Fried Chicken starter, which was essentially Kara-age chicken. All good. For sake I chose the excellent Tokubetsu Junmai, which our server knew should be kept cold. She also seamlessly moved us inside to the lobby’s comfy chairs for dessert and wine. I get mine either the special for the month/holiday or ask for a surprise and they always hit it with that, havent had a combo i did not like. Price is in the same ballpark for coffee and specialty drinks.”

“On Sunday night, November 16, 2025 my wife wanted to order dinner and us a 3rd party app called InKind which has a special offer of spend $100 get $50 off your order. We tried several times to figure out how to get the discount and couldn’t figure it out. My wife finally called the store and spoke to Brenda who was very helpful in trying to help us and apply the discount. Ultimately, we couldn’t make it work, so we just ordered dinner without the discount for pick up. 15 minutes later, my phone rang and it was Brenda from Thai Chili 2 Gilbert Crossing who proceeded to tell us a customer had come into the store and told her how to use InKind. She shared this process with us while on the phone with my wife and we successfully used InKind and received the designated discount. I want to stay that Brenda provided the best customer service and experience I’ve had in Gilbert in the last 11 years. Brenda is the consummate professional in customer experience/service and her management should be very proud to have a team member like Brenda. They have a customer for life from me and my dinner guests from a simple act of kindness and service to make a customer feel important to their local family owned Gilbert business! “Looking for a Chinese in the area and wow we're we pleased. It was about 3:00 and they were still doing quite a bit of takeout, but their dining room was very nice. In The Kung Pao chicken was great with lots of vegetables. The pork fried rice was fantastic and was served as a side when we ordered the "family style". You won't be disappointed”

“THIS was an unexpected pleasure AND place to grab a quick bite to eat!!!! I had 2 physician's appointments in this building known as MHC Healthcare Main. I was starving but hesitated to leave the building when another patient told me about The Copper Cafe located in the same building on the main level. I had no clue this little Cafe was even INSIDE this building. Moreover, it's open to the public! Their menu is impressive with great daily breakfast AND lunch specials ALL made to order; burger, sandwiches, enormous salads AND breakfast made to order till 2pm (cafe closes at 3pm)!!!! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful; even offered me a loyalty card (good ol' fashion punch card vs having to collect a bunch of info from me). I will definitely be back for more scrumptious goodies, AND the kitchen and dining area was sparkling clean, offering plenty of table space for me to spread out my paperwork and outlets to power up my phone and laptop. This space was a TOTAL lifesaver!!!!

“We had lunch at Cayton’s during our stay and really enjoyed the experience. Located at the golf clubhouse, it’s a much more casual atmosphere than the restaurants at the resort but that’s exactly what makes it a great option after a morning by the pool or a round of golf.

The menu is a little smaller and leans more toward elevated bar food and classic clubhouse favorites, but everything we ordered was very good. The real standout, though, is the setting. Sitting outside with views of the golf course and the surrounding mountains makes for a relaxing meal and it’s worth taking the complimentary shuttle over from the resort just for the scenery.

If you’re looking for a laid-back lunch or dinner with great views, good food, and a peaceful atmosphere, Cayton’s is definitely worth the visit.”

“I really quiet little nugget hitting away they do have a dirt parking lot a little tricky to get in a lot of big holes but definitely doable just maneuver your way around the big old burial pot after pure semi driver other than that great service and a good place to take a 10-hour break or even a 30 minute break”

“I sometimes eat here as my second option for for a quick fix for food. It’s pretty good, in my opinion, although the meat can change everything about the sub. I usually order a sub with white bread, ham, tomatoes, olives, onions, lettuce, pickles, American cheese, mayo, and mustard. I used to get oven-roasted turkey but it turned quite plain and very bland, so I switched to ham and it changed everything for me. The cookies are great ad well.”
