Cayton's Restaurant Reviews
Love the staff and the views are spectacular
Don't miss this place, check hours during summer they can change.
We went here with my family to celebrate my birthday. I would say the views are great especially sunset so we went outside to take photos, food is good (leaning towards on the higher end).
However, service needs a little improvement. We were told dessert is on them since it’s a celebration (and I appreciate them for it). As we got the dessert, I was expecting candles are already there, but no there weren’t. It’s weird that we had to request candles from...read full review
We had lunch at Cayton’s during our stay and really enjoyed the experience. Located at the golf clubhouse, it’s a much more casual atmosphere than the restaurants at the resort but that’s exactly what makes it a great option after a morning by the pool or a round of golf.
The menu is a little smaller and leans more toward elevated bar food and classic clubhouse favorites, but everything we ordered was very good. The real standout, though, is the setting....read full review

Cayton's Restaurant at Dove Mountain presents a mixed experience with its food menu. While some customers enjoy the fish and chips, others note a lack of variety, missing favorites like sweet potato fries. However, the ambience and service receive high praise, especially from the patio, which offers breathtaking sunsets over the golf course. Recent reviews emphasize that the food is generally good, with dishes like calamari, aged ribeye, Chicken Diane, and a large burger receiving positive feedback. The calamari breading is tasty, though slightly greasy, but the dip helps mask the greasiness. The aged ribeye is described as flavorful and crisp, while Chicken Diane is tender and moist, though the wine in the cream sauce can overpower the mushrooms. The burger is noted to be huge and juicy, requiring a steak knife to cut. Desserts like tiramisu are creamy and flavorful. The environment is clean and inviting, making for a pleasant dining experience.
The restaurant staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating, striking a balance between professional and personable. Attentive service and a beautiful atmosphere, either inside or on the patio, enhance the overall experience. Recent reviews suggest the menu includes classic favorites as well as unique dishes not found at typical clubhouse grills. Some customers shared appetizers like andouille sausage corn dogs, Shishito peppers, and quail, all of which were delicious. However, there are comments about the wine selection by the glass being limited. Although the atmosphere and service are impeccable, some diners indicated that the food could use improvement, with mentions of upcoming menu changes. Overall, Cayton's has potential if the menu is refreshed to include more options like a deluxe chicken sandwich, tater tots, and additional sandwich choices.
