This old-school diner does everything right. I appreciate the service from what seems to be the same crew whenever I visit. Whether you want breakfast or dinner, the product the comes out of the kitchen is just what you have hoped and expected from local diners for decades. There is something to be said these days for consistency - Sky Rider is just that.
The eggs and sausage link was excellent. Pancakes need levening and whole wheat. Gooey gutbombs unfortunately. The service was excellent, but at 6:30 it was pretty quiet.Atmosphere is, as you would expect, aviation memorabelia in a Formica and LED lit housing. Serviceable and friendly.With a couple tweaks to the cooking, this could be a real gem, but it certainly serves its purpose as an adequate airport eatery.

Sky Rider Cafe is a genuine rural dining experience! My wife and I had lunch and chose the country-fried steak entree and French dip sandwich. The dining atmosphere is very American, with many hanging models of WW2 airplanes and photos of aircraft on the walls. Service was excellent, and food portions generous. Please visit Sky Rider Cafe, as these little spots of Americana are rapidly disappearing.
