“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.”

“I have heard good things about La Frida and finally had the opportunity to try it. My brother and his fiancé were in town from NYC and this place lived up to the hype. It was packed when we got there with an hour wait. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but clean and a fun atmosphere. They ended up having a table ready for us in 30 minutes which was a pleasant surprise. The table shared the Mochomos, I got the Las Sufridas birria tacos for my main, and then we shared the dessert which was on special. The dessert was fried plantains, vanilla ice cream, drizzled with caramel, and sprinkled with a chilled cheese. Everything was absolutely excellent. The staff were very friendly and service was quick considering how busy they were. For more of a fancy “foodie joint”, you still get authentic Mexican cuisine for a reasonable price that will absolutely hit it out of the park. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Parking: Lot was packed with minimal to no parking when at 5:30pm on a Friday evening.”

The drinks were crafted to perfection, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes. As for the food, it was simply delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor.

“The enchiladas and tres leches cake was great. The tortilla soup lacked flavor and was just basically oily water. Service was good, but what was upsetting was that there was no where to change my sons dirty diaper. He has special needs so is getting too big for a regular baby changer but there wasn’t even a regular baby changer. We luckily had a space in our van due to a seat being removed but won’t have that option in the future. What I would suggest is to get a changing table and since there isn’t even a baby one yet, get one that works for special needs kids too. Also more/better high chairs and ones with trays or can go up to table with ease. Thanks”

“The food is delicious. This place has a waiting line. I had the pecan waffles with sugar free syrup. The waffles are hot and tasty with plenty of pecans. The sugar free syrup tastes as good as regular. My husband had the Texas Patty Melt. We would definitely order these again. The service is outstanding by all who work here. But a special shout-out to Veva. Very sweet and efficient. She makes you want to return.”

“One of UofAs newest buildings, built in 2019, is used for housing and teaching those enrolled in the honors college. Beautifully modern architecture creates a unique atmosphere for living and learning. Faculty offices onsite gives a sense of community. Loved the various spaces to congregate with comfortable seating to relax.”

Even without the delicious food I would return time after time simply because this place is ran right. So polite, warm and inviting. “Stopped by to try a Sonoran hot dog, but I got confused and ended up ordering a Sinaloense hot dog because that was the "S" named hot dog I saw on the menu. Also grabbed a horchata to go with it. Both were good. I paid cash, but they also accept cards. There were a few benches available to dine in. Good spot for a quick fix.”

“We live super close to licks and I love to always try a different flavor and there custom milkshakes are so good also, if you look to the right of the fridge and between the lounge area on the wall there’s a menu for a bunch of different types of ice cream like one is a peanut butter sorta vibe ice cream cone and also another amazing thing is there staff they are always so friendly, I highly recommend this if your driving by or if you are eating dinner somewhere near I definitely recommend stopping by.”

They have the best chimichangas in town! “I went to Salad Nation today and I was very impressed with all of the items for your salad preparation. I love that the place is very clean, wonderful lighting with friendly and helpful staff. They have gloves for you to use and dispose of after you have prepared your salad which puts you at ease in using the utensils for salad preparation. “This place has authentic Sonoran style hot dogs. I visit Hermosillo frequently and love the “dogos” so I know what I’m talking about! The hot dogs here are more like Hermosillo hot dogs than any other place I have tried in Tucson! The only criticism I can offer is they need to try and find the Hermosillo style buns with the deep pockets that can hold more toppings.”
