Menu is all vegan, so super easy as a vegetarian to find someone to eat! My friend ordered chili and cornbread and reported it was delicious. Her smoothie she felt was too dominated by banana. My Thanksgiving meal--nut loaf, potatoes, and veggies was delicious. Had friend tofu for an appetizer, which was done with rice flour, so probably safe for gluten-free folks. I am from out of town and I wish Lovin Spoonfuls was also in CT. I got the fried "chicken" dinner which was worth every penny. The portion was large so I had some leftovers. I couldnt believe how "homemade" everything looked and tasted. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Then there was the main attraction, the fried vegan chicken patty. It was thick, juicy and so crunchy. This was one of my top 5 meals ever for quality and deliciousness.

This was a first time visit. HUGE portions. VERY tasty, so an excellent value and NO meat. If not a fan of soy, be sure to ask about which items do and don't have (none in the nut loaf-yum!). If you like gravy, ask for extra. Even my hubby the carnivore said if I could cook like this he wouldn't hesitate to make the switch (I'm workin on it!).
