“I like having the ability to order from a self-operable terminal. That being said, it's not so convenient when you want to order alcohol, for understandable reasons. If you are planning to drink alcohol with your meal, you can order both from the bar.
The Coop Melt and Cowmelt were both great. I also opted for the spicy fries, which were delicious.
Unfortunately, the tables are quite close together, and you can't exactly have a private conversation. I recall there being 4 or 5 tables, all of which were occupied, and some additional bar seating.“

“My family and I came to Chick Fil A for lunch. We were informed that their system was down and unable to process credit cards. You could pay via the app or order from your phone. I opted to order on my phone. As I was trying to pay, the app would not process my payment. I then stood in line to see what could be done. The only reason why I put 4 stars is because I the drive thru line, when you pull up to order, the person taking your order from the hand held device doesn't have a menu to look at... So they show you a cluttered screen. Take a note from in and out on Broadway and Kolb or canes on Wilmot and Broadway. They have menus hanging from their hand helds to look at.“

Let me tell you something about the Lucky Wishbone on Silverlake & Mission in Tucson: I’ve been coming here for years, 3 to 4 times a year like clockwork, and the food has ALWAYS been legendary. But lately?
There’s something different. Something rare. Something the restaurant industry desperately needs more of.

That “something” has a name: DESIREE.

This woman is a powerhouse of professionalism, kindness, and humanity on a level I honestly didn’t think still existed in today’s world. The last three visits, she has been on shift, and each time she has delivered what can only be described as master-class customer service.

She is:

✨ Efficient
✨ Organized
✨ A visual WORK HORSE
✨ And genuinely kind to every single human who walks in the door

And let me be VERY clear, I watched this woman treat a stinky, struggling homeless man with the exact same warmth and dignity she showed a white-collar businessman who came in right after him. Unfortunately, that businessman loudly complained, embarrassed the poor guy, and drove him to take his food to go. But Desiree? Not even a flicker of judgment. She served both men with the SAME smile, the SAME respect, and the SAME heart.

That is rare.
That is special.
That is the kind of humanity this world needs more of.

And on top of that, the restaurant has NEVER, and I mean NEVER, looked as spotless, organized, and smoothly run as when Desiree is at the helm. She’s greeting guests, cleaning, managing orders, supporting her team, handling the rush, all WITHOUT losing her smile.

Lucky Wishbone… you better realize the gem you have in this woman.
People like Desiree don’t just “work” somewhere, they ELEVATE the entire place.

I even stopped her personally to tell her how incredible she is, and promised her I’d make sure people knew her name. So here it is, loud and proud for everyone to see:

“Ordered through the drive thru a few times and its been easy and fast every time. Friendly customer service and the weekend special is awesome! Comes with 2 whole chickens, 5 sides of your choice, corn on the cob, tortillas, fresh mild salsa, and grilled jalapeños. The pollo asado is so delicious! The sides we got were spanish rice, whole beans with bean juice/caldo, and macoroni salad. 10 stars, we will be back“

“When you get tired of all the other fast food, be sure to try LW. After having lived away from Tucson for years, I am back and finally got to eat at LW again. I did the sampler that had shrimp, steak fingers, chicken tenders, cole slaw and garlic toast. After all these years, the great quality is still the same. They are not a chain or franchise business, so you will only find them here. They were selling fried chicken before it became so popular. If you never tried steak fingers, try these, you don't know what you are missing. They must coat their French fries with something because they stand above the rest.“

“The one time we went there and the girl was super rude. She had an attitude when she got her order wrong. She came through us our food and slammed the door for the drive-thru shut. We had to walk back around and tell her that our order was wrong and that's when she got a really bad attitude. Luckily we have seen the manager a few times and he made it better, he gave us both a free meal!“
