“Had an amazing burger at Brooklyn's - a black and blue, with A1 sauce, one of the best I think I've had. Their little fries baskets are cute, but a little small if you're hungry, and the fries don't come with the burger - I think they were an additional 4 bucks on top, but the burger taste was outstanding !

Good range of beer, a bit kind of gloomy, but friendly and fast service. Easy access from I 10.

There are a lot of options depending on dietary preferences or restrictions: gluten free buns, grass fed beef available, and tons of toppings available. I love the local iced tea and the Maine Root sodas. If you have been there years ago when the service was a little slow, just know that was in the past. I waited 3 minutes for a hot, fresh burger tonight that was awesome.“

“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.“

“We really love this local hangout in Old Town for drinks, snacks and the featured live music in the evenings. Oscar Fuentes is a favorite. The patio atmosphere is under a large tree with lights and complete with a koi and turtle pond. The staff is friendly and their bartender was the best.“

New owner Jackie and her wonderful staff saw to it that we had a wonderful meal, including a very special dessert. When Murph and his partner retired we were concerned about how the place would change but our subsequent visits have been wonderful. “My wife and I recently stayed at Leo Kent Marriott for several weeks and had an incredible stay mostly due to the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The front desk team, Corinne and Estefany went above and beyond for us and were so kind. Marley and Steve took good care of us every morning. The night team, Mary and Vanessa are the power team. Mary helped us out several times. We’re so grateful. And Autumn was so kind and helpful. Such a great team of professionals! We look forward to returning.

“I had my retirement party there a little over a week ago. The staff was great - helpful, attentive, yet unobtrusive... and also friendly and just really nice. The food was absolutely fantastic. All of my guests raved about the dinner and the cakes we had for desert. So many thanks to the chef(s) for a delicious meal. The venue was charming and, because the weather was about perfect that night, we were able to enjoy the patio as well as being inside. I can't thank the staff at Café a la C'Artl/Carte Blanche catering enough for making our celebration so great!“

“Coronet is one of my “Go-Tos” when catching a show downtown (at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall and convention center in particular). It’s always been consistent and sets a nice upscale tone for an evening out. Last night was no exception, as a matter of fact it was above and beyond the usual high bar it has set.
I unknowingly booked my ore-show meal on an evening where a chef‘s tasting menu was available.

This was the first time I’ve experienced the Chef’s Tasting menu at Coronet and I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I included the “pairings” option with the five course meal which truly elevated the overall experience. The food was amazing, basically a “best of their menu” and the pairings were absolutely spot on. I’d like to thank Sally for her wonderful hospitality and Sarah (and the rest of the table crew) for the on-point service which I’ve come to expect when coming here.

Coronet should be on any “Must Try” Tucson lists and when the Chef’s Tasting menus are available, take advantage!

“Holy Moly, this is now my number one favorite restaurant in Tucson. I’ve never had such consistently delicious and perfectly cooked food in my life! My family and I went, shared an order of the blueberry lemon pancakes, and each had our own meal. Each and every item we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. And the portions are huge!!!! “This place has great bar-b-que. I would highly reccomend dropping by to enjoy the ribs or pulled pork. The ribs were beautiful and cooked to perfection, the meat was very tender but firm enough to hold together. The pulled pork was very flavorful and when paired with the spicy BBQ sauce it is elevated to a whole new level. Of the four sides tried all of them were incredible, I would imagine they are all just as good. Even for those who do not like mayonnaise based sides the coleslaw is great. When in the area stop in early so you don't miss the opportunity to try thier food since they close when sold out. I almost missed the chance to enjoy the ribs.“

I went back that Thursday for a chat and corona 🍋‍🟩 but ended up getting the steak dinner 🤤 Today, (Friday) I tried the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and the SATISFACTION every single meal brought is undeniably the best food I've had in Tucson! Waitress knew my drink order after one day, knew how I wanted my fries and even how much of a side sauce to add.

The prices are by far the cheapest in town and they offer entertainment at the dinner and the gaslight theater shows are a must see. With that said, yes there are some 1 stars on here, but all the 5 stars truly reflect what their business is all about. I highly recommend this diner for date night or a family night out.
