“We are Texans that now travel all around the country in an RV full-time. We just spent the last 3 months way up in the mountains of Colorado and were missing some good Texas style BBQ. When I told my husband that I'd found there was a Dickey's in Benson, he lit up. We couldn't get there fast enough! The food was excellent. I had the 1/2 rack of pork ribs/plate. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich combo. Everything was so good, just like home. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. If ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!“
“For the only thing out here in Mescal, I'm so grateful that this fun little bar and grill is here. Always nice people and service, karaoke on what seems like most nights, and live bands sometimes (check their website). Locals get together weekly to play poker, old dudes get together daily to complain, and the food is pretty decent for their tiny kitchen.“
“Always good for and consistent service and food quality. We love their homemade potato chips too! It's nice sitting on the covered patio overlooking the twin ponds when weather permits. It is one of our 2 --GO TO places for lunch in Benson. We have recommended it to many fellow RV snowbirds like us.“
“Everything that we ordered here was delicious! We ordered the slam breakfast special, chicken fried steak and eggs and ranchero eggs. The pancakes were so good! Fluffy, warm and just a little crispy on the edges. The service was exceptional! Dora was so quick and attentive, and our food came out so quickly (and it was pretty packed when we ordered) And yes that apple butter is life! Grab a jar! It's only $6.50 and worth every penny. If you get a chance to stop here for breakfast, I highly recommend. Sorry I didn't take a better picture. We dug in before I could take a good picture“
