“My bf and I love this place :) took him here for his birthday today and had a great time loading up on new games and books! The tavern in the back has some of the best meads in down. The "Dark Maiden" mead is soooo good! Highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and helpful and I like that they have things divided up for kids and adults. I wish they had posted that it was DnD night before we went, because we would have gone later to try and find a potential group to play with in the future but we opted to join the secret society and hope to be back soon ?“
“Great place. Fast and super friendly service. Lots of beers on tap and in the fridges, as well as wine, non-alcoholic drinks, etc. Bar seating. They play some movies or programs in the TVs which is great. Flights available with 4 beers.Parking: Plenty of parking available in the free shared parking lot.“
“Small, quaint bar. It felt quite homey. Pool table up on an elevated platform/"stage". A few booths near the U-shaped bar. Drink specials were fantastic, and they tasted good, too! I look forward to going again.Parking: Parking wasn't terrible. We got spots up front, coincidentally. Didn't get to see exactly how many spots were available on each side of the building, but upwards of 30, maybe.“
“Great place, loved the table side salsa and guacamole. All fresh and the flavor is great. We loved the taco al pastor too. The chicharrones was also really good. The molcajete ultimo was okay, could add a little more salt to my taste. Our waiter Louis was very nice, friendly and made sure we had everything needed. Overall great experience.“
“I didn't order any food but I'm sure it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! The environment is really pleasant and chill. Calm and clean! I had a #22, tropical citrus 10oz and it was a smooth delightful sip. I enjoyed my experience here and the customer service was quick and friendly!Parking: Lots of space to park up close or far away!Kid-friendliness: Nothing to entertain the kids with but make sure to bring entertainment for them if you decide to bring em along!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a large ramp that's perfectly fit and wide for any wheelchair users!“
“Super great indoor outdoor beer garden popular with the locals.Large local beer selection on rotationIs a delicious pizza place next-door that is connected to the brewery, and they will deliver the beer directly to your tableThey have a fridge full of non-alcoholic beverages, which are truly appreciated for when I am not drinking, but still want to socializeCustomer service and great recommendations from the bartendersParking can be difficult on the weekend, but there is free street parkingThere was live music and the crowd was awesome“
“I was there yesterday . A great experience . They take great care in the prep and how they keep the meat warm and moist . I had the brisket sandwich , options are chopped or sliced . It was exceptional with their own bbq sauce. I also got the pork ribs to go and tried them last night . Very tasty. They have a great bar and outdoor patio . It was nice that the owners were floating around and asked me how I was enjoying things. I will be back with a bunch of bbq lovers“
“We love this local spot. They offer at least 20 different beers on tap from local AZ breweries. There are also cases with shelves and shelves of cold ones to choose from. There's plenty of seating indoor and out. Almost every night there's a different food truck (check their socials for which food truck will be there) to try. There are board games on a shelf to choose from and play. Definitely a good start to a date night.“
“It's a very busy & cozy gin bar on Congress. There were reserved tables, which you can reserve online. So we were directed to sit "at the best table" at the window, which we thought was just for decoration. You order at the bar, the bartenders were nice. The drinks were good, with elevated flavors and there were many fun choices depending on your preference. There's no food offered here though. It's worth checking out!“
“Everything was a 5 star quality experience for us! We got cider flights to get the variety that they offer and we weren’t disappointed! The quesadillas were simple but delicious! And the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. They’re very queer/LGBT+ affirming here and it was nice to see, even truly gender neutral bathrooms!Highly recommend for good cider, a place to hand, and great atmosphere! I wished I lived in Tucson to come here regularly“
“This bar is so fun, and such a great vibe. Not only do I love the ambiance, but the patrons are always so nice and outgoing. Every time I come here, I leave with a new friend. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I love the drinks here, and I am a cocktail snob! My go to is the 'Shut It Karen' cocktail with Bergamot liqueur. Im obsessed.“
“We were in Tucson for the 4th Avenue Street Fair and just happened to find Batch…and oh my goodness…I’m so happy we did!!! We were in Tucson for 3 nights and we finished all 3 evenings with a night cap at Batch ?. We were also super lucky…on Fridays and Saturdays they have small batch doughnuts ?….yum ? The blackberry w/Crown Royal icing was so good…we ordered a second one ?. The whiskey selection is amazing…the prices are great…the bartenders are very knowledgeable…and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Morgan, the head bartender, was even honored with his name on an Elijah Craig bottle!!!! We asked him to choose our next drink…several times…and they were all amazing. They make cocktails for the guests that don’t enjoy whiskey…but this is definitely a place to go if you want to try new whiskeys served neat ?. If you’re in Tucson…and enjoy whiskey…this is a must!!! We’re planning our next trip back, just so I can go here again ???“
“We went on a Thursday night for karaoke and had a blast. We're from out of town, and when we walked in, you could tell it's a small neighborhood dive bar where everyone knows each other, and we weren't sure. However, after being there a while and singing, most everyone was friendly to us. The KJ was amazing!! I can't remember her name unfortunately, but she was talky sweet and fun and the sound system was excellent and she knew how to adjust it to make you sound the best. She also had a cool system where you chose a song from an app on your phone and put your name in. I've never seen this but loved it!! Lots of songs to choose from, and it's more fair that way so you get right on the rotation. I got to song quite a few songs, and it was fun listening to others sing and sing along. The bartender was super sweet as well and made good drinks. We will definitely go back next time we're in town.“
“One of my Favorite Karaoke spots! (Sun & Wed) The Nugget has created an elegant yet cozy atmosphere where great staff, customer appreciation, beautiful cocktails, added security all contribute to a friendly & safe environment where one can sing away the night and just hang. Beautiful & friendly atmosphere!“
“I have to say for a saloon, I like this place, the food isn't great, the service is good and I like this saloon ambience, FYI, they have a large patio room in the back, and you can smoke a cigar, that's about perfect. Great friendly people as well, still has that old time flavor...“
“This is a chill little place to get great sandwiches. They have other offerings like salads but that would be like going to a Chinese buffet and asking for chicken nuggets. They are known for their sandwiches and they have other great additions like bread bowl soups.“
“This is the ultimate dive/bikers bar. Motorcycle only parking in front with several reserved for only Harleys. Drinks are strong and cheap with well and premium booze available. Indoor /outdoor seating with a large area in back for concerts and events. This was the first place I went to after the lock down that had an outdoor concert with no masks! The only reason I have it only 4 stars is that they have no good now. They used to have one of the best burgers in town.“
“This is one of my favorite places to relax and have a drink. The atmosphere is very comfortable. I do tend to stalk the armchairs when I'm there but the tables and patio are also nice. Excellent options for drinks both n/a and alcohol. I love Abby's Amber Ale and my wife loves their hot tea with honey.“
“We were so impressed with the veggie options on the menu as well as the staff understanding the difference between different food preferences and restrictions! The food was delicious, there were great beers on the menu, and we loved the atmosphere here!“
“Loved Elliot's!! Did not plan to go there. Just passing through Tuscon. Not a lot happen on Congress early on a Wednesday night. They had customers so we went in for a drink and stayed for three. Initially seated then welcomed when we moved to open stools at the bar. The hostess, server and bartender were all so kind and happy. We felt like cherished regulars.“
“Ever since my bf and I moved to Tucson, we've always wanted to try this place. 2 years passed and finally we went and are so glad we did. (We were on our way to Taco Giro, which is also good) . The restaurant has that typical Tucson charm that comes to my mind when I think of Tucson - south western vibe. When we were served the tortilla chips and the salsa as a starter, we already had a good feeling about this place coz the chips were delicious! And their refried beans!!! What do they put in there?! It was so good! Flauta and Carne asada were both delicious. As for service, it was great also. I didn't realize til I saw down but they were about to close in 20 mins or so. I hate going to a restaurant that is about to close but the server still treated us very well and she didn't show any sign of rushing, which I really appreciate.“
“This is definitely my favorite dive bar in Tucson! They have a wide variety and selection and are pretty quick and make for great conversations when they have time. You are allowed to bring in or order your own food as they provide just alcohol. They have an outdoor area aswell that can be heated when need be. The bar definitely feels like something from a 90s movie great vibe!“
“Tap and Bottle North is a gem and go to spot for drinks because they have something for everyone! Not only does it boast an impressive array of craft beers, wines, and some spirits, but the added bonus of ordering food from local spots allows everyone to be happy. The ambiance is top-notch--an inviting space with indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that effortlessly transitions from a laid-back hangout to a vibrant hub as the evening progresses. The cozy seating arrangements and friendly staff contribute to a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. As for the other stuff to do, Tap and Bottle North delivers. Whether it's casual conversations over a flight of beers, trivia nights that spark friendly competition, or live music events that add a rhythm to the air, there's always something enjoyable happening here. It's the ideal spot to unwind, have a great time, and enjoy drinks in a welcoming setting.“
“So I'm new to the area and decided to try a new bar to enjoy my night off and honestly this bar/restaurant is the cleanest friendliest and the atmosphere is comfortable I met the bartender Zack who is tentative friendly and just on top of recognizing his customers/patrons.... I think I'll make this my home watering hole haven't had the food yet but I will order something to go n write a review on my next visit basically come check this place out ... also the bathrooms are exceptional while it comes to cleanliness“
“We are staying at Tucson Lazy Days KOA and wanted to try Sonora Dogs. Read reviews of some of there more known establishments but decided to try this mobile kitchen that operates to the side of a gas station. The food is bomb, very good, and an all at a great price. The owner is very friendly as well as other clientele there, locals who go there all the time. Can’t wait to go back“
“My husband and I come here somewhat regularly as it's one of the few restaurants near downtown that makes absolutely delicious gluten free food. Their menu changes every so often so right now there aren't any gluten free entrees, but they have gluten free bread, sides, and appetizers. Plus on this particular day, 3-1-24 their soup of the day and chocolate torte was available for me to order! However, beyond their delicious offerings, I had to say the service was exemplary. Our waitress and I had a communication error about making my Cubano sandwich (so yummy!) gluten free and I noticed the bun right away. Not only did she whisk it away to be remade immediately, the manager compensated my sandwich and our waitress paid for my side. I was stunned that they would be so nice about it, but thinking back I shouldn't have been surprised. Everyone was so kind through (and before) this snafu, to the point that my waitress brought me a clean fork literally 30 seconds after I dropped mine on the floor. I'm so sad I didn't catch her name properly, but she was amazing. I don't hesitate to recommend this restaurant, and tonight's dinner highlighted one big reason why.“
“Went here for Shannon's birthday party. We had a blast playing pool, listening to good music and the bartenders here are great, they make awesome specialty drinks aka The Lemon Drop, loved it. We were able to decorate a special table with balloons and streamers ahead of time. The best part of all this were the people, patrons in the bar. Everyone signed a card for our friend and joined in singing Happy Birthday to her. I recommend this cute little neighborhood bar as a must see when you're anywhere nearby. The atmosphere is relaxing and super friendly. Shout out to bartender Marie, you're awesome girl.“
“Love the cool dark/gothic vibe of this place. Caught a burlesque show here which was super fun - with some impressive talent on the stage! I visited during the afternoon and again the same night for the show. Both times it was a challenge to get bartenders attention and they weren't the friendliest. Maybe it's part of the schtick because of the name?? Overall: diverse crowd, plenty of standing room, reasonable drink prices, friendly door staff, unique entertainment (they also have live music that isn't the normal boring stuff), outdoor patio - would definitely visit again.“
“Wow, I didn't know you could still rent movies. I was looking for 2 movies I wanted to buy, they had them but only to rent, it made me laugh. I hadn't been here in a very long time, it has sure changed a lot. It is so much bigger and is comfortable to walk around and see so much more then movies, I will be going g back just to look around.“
“Good Oak Bar is located right next to the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, so when I came for a show I hit Good Oak both before and after the show. Service was amazing, whiskey and bourbon selections were amazing and the music was amazing. NIck and Rae were incredible servers that made perfect suggestions. I absolutely loved it here and hope to be back very soon!“
“Just had cocktails at the Hotel Congress Tap Room Bar next to The Cup and sat outside--lovely, fun, relaxing yet energizing environment. The interior had an appealingly dive bar vibe without being creepy.A great place for a nightcap!I personally wasn't a huge fan of the DJ/music but it wasn't too intrusive and we could still converse“
“We were invited by a friend, and unless I'm out of town, we don't miss going there every Thursday for Karoeke. Very friendly atmosphere, you feel at home, everyone cheers the singers and joins in if there's a chorus needed. I have to give a shout out to the bartender, who is so awesome. He remembers not only my name but my drink (& how I like it), but also my companions drinks. Last Thursday I got there late, the kitchen was closed. Somehow, he managed to surprise me with some hot chicken wings, with a side of Mac & cheese. He's fabulous. I just love him“
“Fun spot to hang out, always a good time. The best thing about Louie's is their Mango Lick My Chile drink. It is seriously the ONLY alcoholic beverage I drink. Wish I knew what was in it so I could make them at home. That drink recipe isnt shared tho... Good pool tables, fun DJ...Definitely going back and highly recommend!“
“I can’t say enough good things about this place.. they have great food, great atmosphere. The service is terrific. We love it!it’s very family friendly.Kid-friendliness: Littles to big kid chairs and a place for the kiddos outside to play“
“My husband and I went to Eddie's for the Superbowl. The bartender, Katherine, was exceptional. She made the best margarita that I've had in a long time. She was friendly and had a great attitude. Plus, she served our drinks quickly They had a free Mexican buffet that was awesome! I would highly recommend this bar and plan to return frequently.“
“Heard about this place in a Reddit thread about best bars in Tucson (I was looking specifically for fun dives) and The Buffet was rated as the top bar where people always get into most random conversations with others, which sounded exactly like what we were looking for so we decided to pop in for a drink. Let me tell you, on our first night out after flying in from Canada, it definitely didn’t let us down! We ended up meeting a hilariously large amount of people, who kept plying us with Jell-O shots - truly the best crowd/hospitality I’ve ever received at a bar! It seems like such a delightful little spot with super friendly patrons. Servers are also great, and very attentive. Anyways 10/10 I would highly recommend checking this out while in Tucson, the vibes are immaculate and you’re guaranteed going to have someone to talk to for a fun night out ??“
“Family bar(ish) local flavor, it's cheers in tucson .Additionally, service quick, the wait staff. Are great, always friendlyDietary restrictions: Staff asks the questions before taking orders . Thought that was every thoughtful of themParking: Lots and lots of parking“
“This is the perfect neighborhood pizza and beer joint that is super kid friendly. The 4 tables with a flat screen and a Nintendo game emulator connected to each is the perfect distraction for the kids while the adults can get some peace and quite and quality discussion time with friends. Be creative and adventurous with the pizza's here, you can't go wrong.Kid-friendliness: They have video games at 4 of the tables and the food is kid friendly and the atmosphere is the type of place that of the kids get a little rowdy no one notices.“
“Outrageous! Last night we were enjoying ourselves at Brodies with our friend from England. We were called drunks by bartender Jeff. We couldn't believe his disrespect toward us, especially because none of us were drunk. We come at least twice a week, and Brody's is our favorite bar. We hope this will not happen again. Thank you.“
“Everything about this place on the corner of south 12th and west Ohio is yes. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was super impressed, the El Giro omelette was the best thing I've had made of eggs in a while, I don't usually f*** with potatos but theirs were amazing. Chiliquiles, beans, guacamole, salsa and tortillas were also all really good. You want a great Mexican breakfast you won't be disappointed. It's nothing special to look at but it rates pretty high on my places for good food in a town that's full of it.“
“My girlfriend and I have "Dive Bar Tuesdays" where we try to find the ultimate dive bar in Tucson. Recently went to The Silver Room and had an awesome time! Great customer base and the bartender, Irene, is among the best we've ever encountered. Great Happy Hour prices, and the jukebox was awesome! Highly recommended! I may choose to have my wake there!“
“I decided to stop by the Bambi as it was a short walk from the Airbnb I was staying at. The servers were friendly and provided quick service. I had a guy at the bar buy me a beer just because it was my first time here, which was really cool.I'll come back here when I'm back in Tucson“
“I have visited the establishment on more than two occasions and have found it to be a suitable location for a romantic date due to its intimate ambiance. However, it may not be the ideal choice for other types of gatherings due to the lack of light. Overall, it is a satisfactory venue.“
“I had never visited John Henry’s, and I found it quite charming. They have an excellent choice of drinks, and the bartender was very friendly & knowledgeable. I’ll be back, John Henry’s! Also, you need an eye-catching sign that says “John Henry’s” instead of one that simply states “bar.”“
“JoJo's is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson, and has been for a long time. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff. Their breakfast food is to die for, and at night the courtyard is stunning. They often have live music too. Just a great dining experience.I chose JoJo's to host my wedding last weekend, and they did an absolutely incredible job. Ben, Eli, Becca, Coco, Chef Sam, Ben D., and the entire staff was so flexible and kind with us at each step of the way, and the night was so memorable. Many attendees told us it was one of the most lovely weddings they'd ever been to, and much of that had to do with the incredible service and space provided to us at JoJo's. Highly recommend them for events.Thank you JoJo's :).“
“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.“
“1st time at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint!!! Had the street tacos...fish, chicken, and shredded beef!!!Simply delicious!!! Chips and salsa are complimentary!!!Also ordered a Mango-yita...it was really good as well!!!Will definitely return!!!Happy customer!!!?“
“Cant really comment on food as we didn’t eat. But the atmosphere was awesome. After a bad experience at the Shelter, we came here and were welcomed with open arms. I’m new to pool and the patrons here were so understanding to my learning curve! They were so helpful, and patient, unlike the “employees” at the Shelter! Definitely recommend coming here for weekend fun!!“
“An excellent example of a neighborhood bar! The kind of place where everyone is welcome and there is an easy feel to having an ice cold beer (Tecate with Tajin!) and talking with a good friend. You know you are in the right place when a dog comes over to say hello.“
“Great brewery! The atmosphere and staff were great. Quick service. They brew small batches so the beers change often and lots of variety. When we were there there were over 15 beers on tap. Their pale ales and IPAs were super tasty, and their flagship Cereus is phenomenal. They do not have food, so you can bring your own in.“
