“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Oro Valley. We always get the pollo chipotle and split it. Tons of food and Sooo tasty. We keep saying we are going to try something else but never do. Laura is our favorite waitress, excellent food and service!“
“No food. They had a book club meeting there. The place was not very busy. It’s more a wine bar or atleast that’s all I seen people drinking. They have beer as well. They are located in the Oro Valley Market Place. The sign blends in and it’s easy to pass it by.“
“Saffron never disappoints! We were seated promptly on the patio with excellent service from our server, Keadin! My child absolutely loved the tiki masala and fresh, hot naan bread, while I enjoyed the delicious butter chicken. Perfect heat with the curry! Keadin also went out of his way to make a chai latte with chocolate syrup for my daughter, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Perfect atmosphere and very reasonable price for the quantity of delicious food you’re served. We love supporting this local business!“
“Wonderful selection of beers, wines, and ciders. They had two ciders on tap, the selection varies. They have a couple of gluten free beers. We had truffle Parm fries and pretzels. Generous portions. Prices are a little on the high end, but the quality and selection are worth the price. Service was good.“
“This chilis is great. The one drawback is that they have called Last Call over 45 minutes before closing. There are over 19 people in the bar area with others waiting to be seated. Not used to a bar area doing last call so early. Great chips & “
“My bf and I love this place :) took him here for his birthday today and had a great time loading up on new games and books! The tavern in the back has some of the best meads in down. The "Dark Maiden" mead is soooo good! Highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and helpful and I like that they have things divided up for kids and adults. I wish they had posted that it was DnD night before we went, because we would have gone later to try and find a potential group to play with in the future but we opted to join the secret society and hope to be back soon ?“
“Always loved this place when I went to school in Tucson and being able to stop by was a blast from the past. They make your salsa and guac at the table and the cocktails are huge. Definitely enough to share plates and drinks and still feel full. Some nights they have a mariachi band that comes in and plays for diners. They do take request and will sing around the restaurant for everyone to enjoy. Lots of big booths and delicious food if you have a chance definitely try it out.“
“Small, quaint bar. It felt quite homey. Pool table up on an elevated platform/"stage". A few booths near the U-shaped bar. Drink specials were fantastic, and they tasted good, too! I look forward to going again.Parking: Parking wasn't terrible. We got spots up front, coincidentally. Didn't get to see exactly how many spots were available on each side of the building, but upwards of 30, maybe.“
“I didn't order any food but I'm sure it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! The environment is really pleasant and chill. Calm and clean! I had a #22, tropical citrus 10oz and it was a smooth delightful sip. I enjoyed my experience here and the customer service was quick and friendly!Parking: Lots of space to park up close or far away!Kid-friendliness: Nothing to entertain the kids with but make sure to bring entertainment for them if you decide to bring em along!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a large ramp that's perfectly fit and wide for any wheelchair users!“
“Super great indoor outdoor beer garden popular with the locals.Large local beer selection on rotationIs a delicious pizza place next-door that is connected to the brewery, and they will deliver the beer directly to your tableThey have a fridge full of non-alcoholic beverages, which are truly appreciated for when I am not drinking, but still want to socializeCustomer service and great recommendations from the bartendersParking can be difficult on the weekend, but there is free street parkingThere was live music and the crowd was awesome“
“One of my Favorite Karaoke spots! (Sun & Wed) The Nugget has created an elegant yet cozy atmosphere where great staff, customer appreciation, beautiful cocktails, added security all contribute to a friendly & safe environment where one can sing away the night and just hang. Beautiful & friendly atmosphere!“
“I have to say for a saloon, I like this place, the food isn't great, the service is good and I like this saloon ambience, FYI, they have a large patio room in the back, and you can smoke a cigar, that's about perfect. Great friendly people as well, still has that old time flavor...“
“Tap and Bottle North is a gem and go to spot for drinks because they have something for everyone! Not only does it boast an impressive array of craft beers, wines, and some spirits, but the added bonus of ordering food from local spots allows everyone to be happy. The ambiance is top-notch--an inviting space with indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that effortlessly transitions from a laid-back hangout to a vibrant hub as the evening progresses. The cozy seating arrangements and friendly staff contribute to a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. As for the other stuff to do, Tap and Bottle North delivers. Whether it's casual conversations over a flight of beers, trivia nights that spark friendly competition, or live music events that add a rhythm to the air, there's always something enjoyable happening here. It's the ideal spot to unwind, have a great time, and enjoy drinks in a welcoming setting.“
“Fun spot to hang out, always a good time. The best thing about Louie's is their Mango Lick My Chile drink. It is seriously the ONLY alcoholic beverage I drink. Wish I knew what was in it so I could make them at home. That drink recipe isnt shared tho... Good pool tables, fun DJ...Definitely going back and highly recommend!“
“Family bar(ish) local flavor, it's cheers in tucson .Additionally, service quick, the wait staff. Are great, always friendlyDietary restrictions: Staff asks the questions before taking orders . Thought that was every thoughtful of themParking: Lots and lots of parking“
“Outrageous! Last night we were enjoying ourselves at Brodies with our friend from England. We were called drunks by bartender Jeff. We couldn't believe his disrespect toward us, especially because none of us were drunk. We come at least twice a week, and Brody's is our favorite bar. We hope this will not happen again. Thank you.“
“I’m staying at the Best Western/Hotel Bridgeway on Tucson Ave. the Indian Twist restaurant is attached to the hotel. Super convenient, fast and DELICIOUS!! There’s not many Paneer dishes, but I asked if I could sub the chicken in the Butter Chicken for paneer. It was no problem! I had Butter Paneer, garlic naan and the wonderful rice. I got mild spice and it was PERFECT!! I wish I could have this everyday! Friendly service, making sure that I didn’t need anything else several times. As I was eating several pick up orders were completed, and a couple others came in to eat. Everyone was warmly welcomed, not the canned ‘welcome in’ response that you get many places. 10/10 - would eat here everyday.“
“Cant really comment on food as we didn’t eat. But the atmosphere was awesome. After a bad experience at the Shelter, we came here and were welcomed with open arms. I’m new to pool and the patrons here were so understanding to my learning curve! They were so helpful, and patient, unlike the “employees” at the Shelter! Definitely recommend coming here for weekend fun!!“
“An awesome experience. The place was the epitome of neighborhood dive bars. Very comfortable and clean surroundings but not an ounce or pretence. I met many interesting regulars with great stories to tell. This would be my regular bar if I wasn't moving on. In fact this bar might keep me from moving on. Thanks for the experience.“
“Good food and drinks, with a big spacious bar to walk around, TVs everywhere, sports memorabilia. Friendly servers and Bartenders as well as the patrons some of the patrons bought rounds of shots for people. The bartenders Jonah and Jules both made me shots Jonah made a fruit loop with a sugar rim and Jules bad a peach whiskey drink both were above the standard in flavor and taste would highly recommend if looking to expand ones pallet for different drinks and flavors.“
“Looks like a hole in the wall.... but this is a gem. One of Northwest Tucson's best kept secrets for great food. Used to go all the time for the Friday night Fish Fry, went there today for lunch and had the fish - YUM! Great service too!“
“Had the best timePeople were very friendly the karaoke dj was very professionalBartender s we're at the top of there gameVery professional and the band was terrificAnd everything all under roof.Excellent move on the owners partWe will most certainly be back!!“
“Not only does this place offer up the best burger/fries I've ever had in my 47 years of living, but they also offer up something that's insanely hard to find today and that's consistency. Hands down my favorite place in all of Tucson and surrounding area. Excellent staff, great bar, and the perfect atmosphere.“
“I haven't been to Tommy's in years, it is pretty much the same, but has a new owner. We enjoyed a small picture of beer and a few games of pool. The owner Lisa introduced herself and was very nice. Had a good chat with her! Will go back soon.“
“I've been watching Proof for a few weeks now and decided to give them a go for lunch. Kudos to their website and online food photos that look delicious enough to, well, eat! Anyway, I visited Proof at Philip's Plaza in Tucson for a late lunch at around 2 pm. The food: I tried the cheesy bread and the Polynesian Pie. First, the pizza. The pizza is about a 12-inch round and perfect for one person. You can tell this is an artisan pizza by the quality of the pizza crust and the freshness of the toppings. This crust is the perfect delivery vehicle for the toppings: soft, airy, and subdued, which allows the flavor of the toppings to shine. The pineapple, jalapeños, and cheese were fresh, tasty, and delicious. There was also prosciutto on the pizza, but the flavor of this ingredient was oddly absent. Still a great pizza, but I would like more prosciutto flavor. The cheesy bread was also good and had a nice garlic, cheesy flavor. I don't prefer the choice of crusty bread for this appetizer as having to gnaw my way through the bread detracted from enjoying the appetizer and getting to the cheese. Using a softer bread would have been better, in my opinion. Still good, though. The ambiance: Understated decor with both inside and outside seating. I sat outside in the covered seating area. There was a real New Orleans vibe going on because of the blues music playing. It rather took me back to NOLA. Great food in a relaxed, chill atmosphere. It looks like they do karaoke there, too. The service: Spot on, friendly, and attentive. You can tell the staff pays attention to the details and to their customers. So, overall, I very much recommend Proof to people who enjoy great pizza in a good environment. I would have given a 5-star review if the cheesy bread had been better, but that's my thing - I'm sure others like it as it is. Go there, relax, and absorb the scene of a great place.“
“Now I’ve been to many dive bars in my life. I’m neither proud or ashamed of having said that because it is always like stepping into an alternate universe and timeline where you can be anybody you want and do anything you want to do. Ever since I used the bathroom at the Buffet Bar, I always vowed to be a better person because once you get a glimpse of hell, you’ll never want to go back.I stumbled across Danny’s Baboquivari Lounge on the googles and wanted to check it out. Besides Baboquivari being fun to say, I learned that The United States Congress designated the Baboquivari Peak Wilderness in 1990. It is the smallest such designated wilderness in the state of Arizona. According to O'odham nation legend at the beginning of the Spanish conquest of what is present day Arizona, a certain Spanish officer and his men tried to dig their way into Baboquivari Peak. Suddenly, the ground under them opened and Baboquivari swallowed them. This legend has similarities to Francisco Vásquez de Coronado search for the Seven Cities of Cibola and a place called Quivira, where, he was told, he could get his hands on unlimited quantities of gold. Anyway, I just wanted to get drunk and come across another type of gold-digger if you know what I’m sayin’! It’s just cool to learn about local lore while looking for a new place to drown some demons.Immediately while walking in here on a Sunday night, I felt like a naked, buff cyborg from the future looking for some clothes, boots and a motorcycle. What a vibe. The smell of broken dreams, pall malls, cheap whiskey and avoiding child support. My kinda joint. The quaint wood beams, the torn, dried-blood red leather booth seating, the half-working electronic dartboards, oregon trail wall decor, pinball machines, the 5 pool tables in the back, a jukebox and a Ms. Pacman setup. To this day, ill never understand why THE Pac-Man didn’t marry. Or maybe he did and he went through a divorce. Pretty sure there’s an online rabbit hole to go down on that one. But how appropriate to think about while my jukebox song “Wake Up” by Mad Season echoed through these beautifully forsaken walls. After I ordered a PBR and a shot of whiskey, I walked toward the pool tables and there was an older lady with an eyepatch, a bandana and some fingergloves practicing her technique. I racked up on the table next to her’s and could tell she was judging me with her one eye especially after I messed up the break. At one point I accidently got in her way while she was lining up a shot and then she started shouting some homophobic, anti-semetic and unforgivably racist phrases and idioms but I offered to buy her a shot anyway and then she offered to do unmentionables to me behind the food truck outside. Her tune changed real quick. Her three teeth glistening with anticipation. I politely declined and went to go settle my tab. While waiting for the bartender, the guy next to me who had the whole down and out trucker vibe going on leaned over and asked “if I’ve ever thought about robbing a blood bank before” and I told him it sounded like too much squeeze for the juice but then he just stared at me for 20 seconds. I decided I needed another drink and just went to go flirt with Ms. Pacman for the next hour while watching my back. Great vibes here. Will return. 5 stars.“
“An absolutely fabulous award-winning active adult community. It has plenty of golf, tennis, pickleball, arts and crafts and clubs galore. This beautiful community is surrounded by mountains and very nicely landscaped. Residents move here from across the nation. They’ve had a level of success that enables them to live here.“
“Just bought a burger and fries from this place and the food was amazing. The burger was big with a thick patty and the fries were nice and crisp. The ladies were very nice too. Amazing prices. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back :)“
“The food, the service and ambience were perfect! The Keg is our favorite restaurant for special occasions and it never disappoints. We had a fabulous time chatting with our waiter and manager. Our party had a wonderful time! Also, we received 2 free drinks for 2 birthdays and The Keg's kindness was greatly appreciated.“
