I highly recommend Black Bear Diner. Even though there were quite a few folks waiting, we were seated in about 5 minutes. Huge menu with lots of selections, even for those on diets or with special food needs, and the menu clearly shows calories for every item. The waiter was upbeat, pleasant, and very knowlegeable, and helped each of us order what worked for our diets. It has been a return to , the people working there are professional but still give you a feeling of family. The food unlike most places seem to fill the plate , the plates are a wide oval . The prices are good for what is served , it can get busy but it doesn't really seem to get loud. Like some places the number of people cause a loud background noise. Here the sound is subdued to a point where you can actually have a conversation.
