We have dined at True Food Kitchen a number of times and enjoyed it each time. On our recent visit we took our young grandchildren who “approved” of the children's menu as well as the Etch-a-sketches they provide to amuse them.
For a restaurant that supposedly cares about people's health, the menu is disappointing. Two of us at a table for four were lactose intolerant. There is no information about common allergens on the menu. Furthermore, items that one would think would be dairy-free, such as meatballs, did have milk as an ingredient. The server needed to check with the kitchen, rather than knowing that. Also, a great many items on the menu contain dairy products so our choices were quite limited....read full review

Our waiter, Marcus,, was exceptional! Fun and knowledgeable and very service oriented. The noise level was very high and our friend thought his sandwich of chicken was very tough. Marcus wanted to replace his meal but our friend declined his gracious offer. The poke bowl was the best ever! We will return!
