“Easily the best Ramen I’ve had the pleasure of having in Tucson. Having lived in Japan and enjoyed it in it’s original form, this is a taste of my old home in Tokyo. The flavors and umami is on point! I eat here almost too often now haha enjoy! Itadakimasu!“
“Konnichiwa! Pat and I have lunch at Sushi Zona every Tuesday. I usually have the Deluxe Bento. Pat often orders from the sushi/sashimi checklist. All excellent. Dining is casual. The owners/operators, Taichi and Michiko, are wonderful, friendly people who have been serving their community for years. They deserve our support, especially during this pandemic when all family run restaurants are under stress. Please note that Sushi Zona offers takeout. We’ll be availing ourselves of this service regularly until the dine-in ban is lifted. After that Pat and I will be happy to see you any Tuesday shortly after the 11:00 am opening. As you enter we’ll be seated at our usual table - the one farthest from the door. Assuming social-distancing is still appropriate, please give us a wave - from across the room. ;-)“
“This place is actually fire. I've been there a few times, and it's been consistently good. The space is a bit small, but if you don't go during lunch rush, I think you should be fine. There is also an outside covered sitting area and drive-thru.Kid-friendliness: It's small, so you can't lose your kids lol. Also, anime themed, so that's fun.“
“I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!“
“Kiwami Ramen is a nice, simple noodle restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is small, you order by the number for ramen, and customize it with add ons. Most of the broths are pork based, spouse had the curry #6. Very hearty, curry was mild, plenty of flavor in broth. The one vegetarian option barely satisfied me. They should rethink even offering one. It had a nice complex peppery broth, and included tasty green noodles, salad greens, 1 bit of broccoli, one Brussel sprout cut in half. I added mushrooms, otherwise it wouldn’t have been much of a meal.Appetizer menu was pretty extensive and we tried the pan fried vegetarian gyoza. Six pieces stuffed with edamame and veg. were fabulous and a good dish to share. Washed it down with jasmine ice tea. Will go back and try more apps.Looked like a very busy drive-thru happening.“
“Miansichuan Noodle Shop is a cozy spot in town. It's got a friendly feel, with decorations. When you walk in, it feels welcoming, like a place you'd like to hang out with friends. The menu is about noodles and some appetizers. They have lots of types, like ramen, and Chinese noodle. The noodles here are really good. They're fresh and taste homemade. The soups and sauces are tasty, not too heavy or light, just right. The toppings, like meat and veggies, are fresh and yummy. The people working at Miansichuan are super nice. They help you choose what to eat if you're not sure. You don't have to wait too long for your food, which is great.Miansichuan Noodle Shop is a great place for noodle lovers. It's a simple, friendly spot with delicious food. Good for a quick bite or a meal with friends or family.“

“My husband and I absolutely LOVE Ikkyu. We’ve made it a must do for our date night. I love the Udon and Hubby always gets the Volcano don. The customer service is amazing as well. Everyone is friendly and the food is always made super fast. I’ve never waited more than 15 for an order.“
“Went here for dinner last night with family and friends and had the Takaki Maki roll. It was filling and delicious. The Salmon Asparagus roll and Kantu Beef were also very much enjoyed. The fried chicken sandwich was the least amazing out of the four. The location is conveniently near downtown and the atmosphere is pleasant if you’re facing away from the bar. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner out.“
“Always love coming to Raijin and get my ramen fix. Their food is really good, best ramen place in town I would say, Ja ramen is a close second. Try both of these place out when you’re here. The broth here at rajin is really what makes it better than Ja ramen. Also check out the karage, it’s delicious. The takoyaki however is a bit doughyParking: Hate this parking lot extremely small“
