“I’ve been in love with Nigerian cuisine ever since I first tried it. Everything is made from scratch, and every dish bursts with flavor. My favorites are their egusi with pounded yam, and their spicy puff puff is simply irresistible. We chose to dine in, and I really appreciate that they require table reservations—it makes for a smoother, more relaxed experience. If you’ve never had the chance to try them, I highly recommend it.“
“This food is pretty good! got the chicken shawarma plate. Was done really fast, was kinda questionable how fast it came out. But the flavors are amazing, and definitely a lamb dish next time.“

“My family and I have been wanting to try Egusi and Fufu for a while. We had no idea what to expect and we ended up being blown away. The Egusi was incredibly flavored. We couldn't put our fingers on the flavors but it smelt and tasted very much like an Italian Mariana. Eating the Fufu with the Egusi is a must! It brings both foods to a different level. It's definitely a comfort food. We also purchased goat soup, chicken, salad and plantains. The goat was tender and gamey. The chicken was grilled, tender and had flavors that I couldn't decipher. It was flavors that we had never tasted before but we all agreed that it was amazing. The salad was easy, light and tasty. The plantains were out of this world! The best plantains that I've EVER tasted. The restaurant is a small "hole in a wall". It's also the CLEANEST hole in a wall that we'd ever visited. It's decorated with West African art, furniture and instruments. The entire restaurant, from the food, decor and amazing customer service makes this is a MUST try. We'll definitely be back. Thank you, Alafia, for a great dinning experience!“
