McDonald's in Tucson

“This MC D's Single handily contributed to my coronary artery disease. My arteries are clogged with plaque. When I was a young adolescence and young adult I ate here a lot. Before I knew the repercussions. They would lure me in with their Monopoly game with me hoping to win. I ate here several times a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At such a young age, I never realized the food could be so bad for your body. What tastes good is bad for you, and what tastes bad is good for you. hmm. Burgers and fries were always delicious, but not good for the body. Choose something healthy.“

“The consistently best location in midtown! We’re here about once a month and they’ve never gotten an order wrong and are always nice. Tonight we got a bunch of value meals and they got every special request our kids asked for correct and the food was crazy hot and fresh! They never even forget the napkins or sauce. Thanks for making it feel worth it to occasionally eat out and feel like we’re actually getting a treat. Ya’ll are fabulous!“

“The dinosaur in the front will always be a big childhood memory, it's so nice to see it's still there. Even though it was a long line at the drive thru they got us through super fast and they were nice. This place will hold a special place in my heart.“

“As I walk in today, all the kiosks are down. Angelina is running the front by herself. She should be recognized by handling this stressful moment, with patience, and in a timely manner. People need to remember that patience is a virtue, and when you see kiosks down, you should know better than to take it out on her.“

“This Walmart McDonald's was busy with no clear place for customers to line up for ordering, so we ended up blocking people wanting to go into the Walmart. Half the tables had undividual Walmart employees taking their lunch break! This is a Walmart problem and should be addressed. The food was good, and the service was great.“

“While l aggressively avoid what they jokingly call "food" here, I'm firmly convinced that McDonald's consistently sells the best iced tea in town.

Dietary restrictions: IMHO: if you remotely value your health you should avoid McDonald's food and it's mysterious list of wacky unhealthy ingredients.

Parking: Ample and abundant on-site parking is available.

Kid-friendliness: Indoor playground.

Wheelchair accessibility: Modern building appears to be in full ADA compliance.“

“It's close to my job, always fast at the drive thru, I have never had to pull up after the windows to wait out front or wver seen anyone wait out front. Thanks to the a great crew working so well together. This location is in my Top locations for lunch . Again Thanks for your hard work getting these order out so quick and accurate.“

“Although I ordered no pickles on 8 McDonald's the beautiful Lady in the drive-thru is very sweet. OH!!! I got 4 no pickle. Still a sweet visit.. I think 🤔🤔🤔 she's a manager dressed in a white button up shirt.. she's blonde and is always there when I go.“

“I visit this location often. And the employees are usually very friendly and the food is usually pretty good and they almost always get everything right. You can tell some employees actually care here because the food doesn’t come out sloppy. It actually is put together with care and you can see that.
I hope this always is the case here especially when other locations nearby don’t put the care or kindness into their work/craft.

“Haven’t had a good bacon egg and cheese biscuit in a long time. My normal McDonald’s up in the 9000 block of tanque verde serves very doughy sad biscuits. This McDonalds was great tho. Bit of crunch but still soft inside. They won me over. McDonald’s corporate could definitely add a lil more bacon tho.“

“When we walked in today, I wasn't expecting anything special. Just another average McDonald's meal in the boring new modern building.

But I was very surprised!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, gave a fantastic vibe.
But the BEST part was THE MASCOT COSTUME! A Birdie mascot was walking around the restaurant, presumably because of the school fundraiser going on? (we did get a couple cookies for that, very pleasant and fun)

It's amazing seeing the mascots still being a part of McDonald's identity, and it easily highlighted this from an average experience to something worth talking about!

The ONLY thing that would've made this experience better is if the new renovated building wasn't so corporate and lifeless. Fun colours and architecture make older locations so much more welcoming! Not to mention the nostalgia. That's worth capitalizing on! (as long as isn't done artificially and carelessly. Fans can tell)“

“very kind, especially that lady with a neck tattoo and reddish hair.(she didn't have a tag on her when I went in this time) very kind and professional, always in a good mood and ready to help. I've been going pretty regularly for lunch and never had an issue with them“

“The team working tonight absolutely deserves a raise! You better give them a raise! This is the only McDonald’s that ever gets an order right. Especially a large order. They are amazing and fast and did a super good job and deserve to be recognized for it“

“Some customers were harassing and yelling at the crew, still got service with a smile after the employees were getting berated over the drink machine not working. Customers rude, employees were nice and chill tho. I was treating them kindly, and they were then being kind to me back, even got a free cookie for being nice and patient.

TLDR, don’t be an ass to the employees, don’t make their lives harder than it needs to be. Chances are if you’re nice to them, they’ll be nice to you“

“They constantly make mistakes when I order on the app. But I'll still give them 4 stars because their staff is very courteous and professional and goes the extra mile to make things right when they are made aware of their mistake in my order.“

“Nice McDonalds location. It is modern and very clean.

My only gripe is the stupid order kiosks they have. I am a tech junkie, but I still hate using those machines to order vs ordering from a human. I'm not sure why they consider these an upgrade. I would recommend ordering ahead on the app, or trying to order from a staff member if you can catch one, than playing 20 questions with the stupid order kiosks.“

“Every time I visit this store, it’s always an awesome experience, very clean and the employees are always very attentive. I’m not sure if he’s the store manager or shift manager he’s an older gentleman with long hair-he absolutely goes above and beyond every trip I make I usually order over the app which is always convenient Id say!! But my last visit they were out of pies and he didn’t mind giving me a refund! Which was so awesome. Wasn’t expecting considering I ordered over the app. But every time I come his team and his self are always very quick and on their feet hustling orders and helping guest! I know it’s tough working in fast food or just anywhere in general now a days! But I’d like to take the time out of my day to thank them for always giving the experience a hundred and ten percent!!! “I go out of my way to come to this location. Food is consistently better than ANY other location! Nicest employees too. Had a very small issue today (first time) and Kirsten was extremely kind and helped me very quickly and went beyond what I was hoping for. The manager lady with glasses was great too. “It's McDonald's.
You drive through the drive through just to get. Told to pull over and park to the side of the building, because yeah, they have to get the next car. I know their service is timed, but to me every time they park a car, they're cheating the system just because yea, they can clear it doesn't mean yes, it's customer friendly. And uh, you can't always get ice cream for whatever. Reason I think ice cream should be available. It's from there noon to close.“

“Keep in mind this play area is not good for little ones. I would say five and up would be safe in this particular area. Food was amazing and fresh, however refills are very restricted. Make sure you don't get lemonade if you want a refill( what the heck ?) because they tend to be very bothered and rude if you ask?“

“The food is consistent with McDonald's menu, which I believe is overpriced, but the young man running the front end is outstanding. Since McDonald's moved to self-service stations, which is terrible customer service, assistance was provided with ease and politeness.“

“Bad neighborhood as we Tucson folks know but when I came into this McDonald's for a bite, I was impressed how clean and well greeted I was when entered with my children. They played with other children there and the staff was just absolutely amazing Michael was absolutely wonderful and the service he provided was comforting. I look forward for my next visit!“

“About my typical expectations for a McDonald's, I've never had a problem with their service or staff. At times there will be an order mix up but its quickly corrected if brought to their attention. There is no longer free access to refilling sodas in the lobby since their last remodel. I think they still give free refills but you have to ask at the counter.
I always HIGHLY RECCOMEND getting the app, to earn rewards and get coupons for food. It saves you ALOT of money!“

“Thus store is my first choice to go to when I want McDonald's they are quick. I have seen them (in the last 2 visits hand me sprites that have been sitting there and the ice is melted at the top, so that's the only issue I have had lately.“

“Manager Claudia and all her team are very efficient and kind. Yesterday, even though I saw the lobby was full and the drive-thru line was long, I went through the window, and they gave me very fresh food, and everything was very fast. Very good service. Definitely this McDonald's location is the best for me.“

“The parking lot is clean. When I look at the building, I see the walls, windows, and door are clean. I walk inside and see the floor, tables, counter tops, kiosks, and even the freaking trash can are all clean. I ordered with the kiosk and scanned my app for the reward points, works first try. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese with extra ketchup, extra mustard, extra onions, extra pickles, and no bun. They got it right, and it was brought to my table fast and hot. I got a large cup with unsweetened tea, and it was delicious. The bathrooms are coded and so clean. The staff were extremely friendly even though they were busy as heck, which is a huge plus because I've seen staff fall apart and be short with people when busy. Not on this visit to this location at all. Excellent service.“

“Gary made my drive through experience enjoyable as he quickly processed my order and met me at the waiting area very shortly after my arrival. The double cheeseburger was hot and delicious and the fries crispy with perfect amount of salt. Thanks for a great snack.“

“Even though there’s a McDonald’s near my home, I choose to come to this one every single morning. Because the people working here are truly different… 💛

Starting my day with positive, smiling faces makes me feel so good. I don’t remember all the names exactly, but one of them is Beka such a kind, polite, and helpful person. And another one calls me “sweetheart” over the speaker when taking my order, and even that small gesture makes my whole day 😊

It’s really special to see people who genuinely love what they do and spread kindness to everyone. You fill my mornings with such positive energy.

“The manager Winette (I think that was her name) is a breath of fresh air at this location. I usually don't like going to this location because there is always issues with my order and I'm usually met with attitude and dissatisfaction but it is closer to my house. Not tonight, the manager went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great. There was issues with my order but the manager made sure my wait time was compensated very well! I will definitely be going back to this location! I know she doesn't get paid enough for her quality of customer service and she deserves a raise!“

“I never write a McDonalds review but thought I needed to because I just witnessed a jerk customer treat the employees in such disrespectful manner I needed to call it out. No one is perfect, they didn't get his order exactly right, mistakes happen (he mumbled when he spoke, probablyhis fault). The way he treated the employees was inexcusable. The manager and employees should be applauded for how they handled this man and his abuse with such grace and dignity.“

“Everything was good the only thing that I didn’t like it, it’s because it is conected to a gas station market and that means a lot of people get in, kind of unsafe for a kids. But the good thing is that in the play place area is a restroom.“

But this time they messed up the order and totally a falure to pay attention ro detail. When I went back up to inform them no bacon on my burger, which was requested the associate team member just grabed some bacon and put it on a to go plate. No apology and no offer to actually properly correct the order.
I found the dituation callussed and sloppy customer service at best.
They were more concerned about gossip than customer service.
It also was not very busy.
So really no reason for the behavior or failure to properly make the order.“

“Frappe was super yummy, as always! Way cool tho - I ordered a couple extra caramels, yum yum. And this guy, at the expo window, is just looking at me squeezin away for me to say when. “B4 this place opened I posted how excited I was! Why the other 2 McDonald's near me are a 2 at best. But this McDonald's always has been the Best, there soda lines are always cleaned, and the Frap machine seems to ALWAYS work... this McDonald's is by far the best I've ever been to. 😊“
