“Rating; EXCELLENT!Located across from Reid Park at 22nd Street and managed by the same family that runs the location near the base, This McDonald's has its menu improvements I admire for (just like the one near the base)! “This time we did breakfast and although we had to wait, it was well worth it because the hash browns were majorly fresh and so yummy. My friend and I stop by this store at least twice a month after going shopping. And we have not had any problems here. But we usually go to the drive-thru so I can't tell you anything about the inside. But I found that if you're willing to put their app on your phone that you can order ahead pick it up in the drive-thru and you get points for it towards free stuff. So that's a good feature here as well.“

When I waited at the counter area, I saw a few bags on there, not knowing if it's mine or not. The female employees who took my order looked at me and said nothing; assuming my order was still not done. A few more minutes passed, and still no order call. This time, I asked an employee, and he pointed at the bag that I thought it wasn't mine because the female employee didn't say anything or let me know that my order is done for the whole 15 minutes of waiting. “Placed order at 10:56 on McDonald's app. By the time i got to the drive thru it was 11:01 Technically they close at 11:00. However the crew were the epitomy of customer service. They made our order of two double cheeseburgers anyway. What a great example of going that extra mile. It was Wed. Night Feb. 7th. I hope you commend this crew for a job well done. They deserve it. “I will always go to McDonald's to get a cup of coffee, but it's not the same. It's not that their service is bad. It's that things are set up, so there is very little interaction with actual employees. Ordering from the counter is tough because even the cashiers come from around the corner to use the self-serve kiosks to take orders. If your order is pickup or drive through, you should be okay, but trying to dine inside is just not worth it, for me, at least.“
“Alright, hear me out, I am a Diet Coke lover, and this McDonald’s was literally right down the road from my apartment. I would go there once a day at the very least, and so the staff definitely got to know me. They were my favorites! Despite them being short staffed (I mean what place isn’t), the crew managed to always greet me with a smile. Now they may come in and start cleaning it and I think that's terrific because I understand the need to get it cleaned up and close it down. I had a negative experience at another McDonald's tonight where they kicked us out and close the play place earlier, so I am Overjoyed that me and my son get to enjoy this Play Place tonight. Yes, sometimes it's a wait, sometimes orders get mixed up, are missing items, etc. But consider the sheer volume of customers and orders and complaints they deal with on a consistent basis. “EXCELLENT food, but the staff certainly could use a course in "CUSTOMER SERVICE" a worker who attempted to take my order was RUDE, I asked for a Manager. She said she was "The Manager". Later I went back to order some more food, and saw & heard the "So-called Manager" telling her co-workers what she did and how "STUPID I WAS" to believe she was the manager, then I did confront the Manager on Duty about what has happened, and I was told that her worker handled the situation properly. “I grew up with this location, I remember eating in a mine tunnel on a mine cart.They often forget about giving you the sauces with nuggets/happy meals, causes kid melt down for me upon discovery. So turning around is no easy task on Oracle Rd.“

“* UPDATE* I decided to go back to this location several days after I left my first review. I will say this location redeemed itself. There is a different crew working that day. I ordered the same thing I ordered in my initial review. They have redeemed themselves. My drink was filled to the top with fresh looking ice. Fries were hot and texture expected. The only negative thing I can say about this last visit is that they put my fries in the bag upside down so they all fell out and were at the bottom.I’ve been going to this location for many years. I’ve never had any issues with service until yesterday. I drove through and ordered a meal to share with my husband. When I got to the first window to pay, I used my debit card. The young woman at the window looked less than thrilled to be there, and stared at me after she handed my card back. I had to remind her to give me my receipt. When I got up to the next window to get my food, a young woman handed me my drink which looked like someone had taken a few sips out of it. Has McDonald’s started to set their machines to fill their soda cups 3/4 full? Even the ice looked melted like it had been sitting for a while. The food was average. The fries were not piping hot and cooked to perfection. Average meal for an inflated price. I guess this is a good reminder of why it’s better to make a burger at home and fill your own drink cups. Disappointing and Customer Service was definitely lacking!“
“The guy at the drive thur was nice and trying to make sure my sister's order was correct. Same with the employees putting the order together. Unfortunately, I ended up with my sister's order and someone else's order. I didn't know till after I got back to the hotel. “This Walmart McDonald's was busy with no clear place for customers to line up for ordering, so we ended up blocking people wanting to go into the Walmart. Half the tables had undividual Walmart employees taking their lunch break! This is a Walmart problem and should be addressed. The food was good, and the service was great.“
