“The ambiance of Locale is good, but it was quite loud. But the great food made up for the noise. I got 2 margehritas, both very good. Was not a big fan of the pudding dessert I had, but maybe it just wasn't for me. Also tried fried calamari for the first time! Serice was very good, my waiter was very nice.“
“Ok I absolutely LOVED the food and vibes here! The murals on the wall were so cool too. It’s a very small restaurant so I highly recommend getting a reservation. The service was great and food was made fresh and was very yummy. I got the Oh Honey Board as appetizer and the Chiles & Cream Pizza. Both were delicious! I’d also recommend the lemonade with the prickly pear syrup ? definitely a place I’d love to go back to!“
“I didn't make reservations, but the hostess kindly saved a table in the bar for us when we called 15 minutes ahead. The server in the bar area was a pro. I missed his name, but kudos to a job well done. His recommendation of the salmon was spot on. I will definitely be back, with reservations this time.“
“It’s all about the bread! From the bruschetta board to the mushroom fondue and paninis, you can’t go wrong at Postino. The flavor profiles offer just the right blend of sweet (figs, jam, truffle) and bright (pesto, artichoke, tomato), pairing smartly with a wide selection of wine and beer, and the cheeses are amazing, including the mascarpone, brie, and white cheddar. Service is exceptional, start to finish — the professional training shows here, with the staff taking continual glances at the table to anticipate what you might need without ever interrupting the flow of dining. The indoor-outdoor concept is fantastic too, with huge, modern bar spaces that lead right out to the patio, which is thoughtfully designed and positioned away from the traffic of Grant. Excellent place to sip and savor the night away — can’t wait to go back!Vegetarian options: The staff is helpful in tweaking the menu to accommodate any given request.Dietary restrictions: The server thoughtfully asked if anyone at the table had food allergies or input for the kitchen.Parking: Safe, large parking lot with easy access from side streets, not just Grant“
“Amazing little deli store! How can we have lived here over 20 years and not known about Roma? Definitely off the beaten path in an odd little industrial area.Enormous incredible sandwiches n salads made to order plus a deli case n a huge freezer stuffed with frozen meals and soups.Love it! Highest of recommendations!“
“Surprisingly we only we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident as we are always looking for someplace that serves beef carpaccio. Very happy we found it. Wonderful varied and creative menu, we had difficulty choosing. Everything we tried was wonderful, nice portions and very reasonable prices. Our waiter Xander took great care of us. We will be back for sure! “Why Not”!?“
“Loved it. Had a half-n-half snakebite and flyin- hawaiian. Would probably just get a whole snakebite next time, but it was amazing! The family all tried a different pie, and all enjoyed it. Everyone said it was good, and we will 100% go again.“
“My husband and I came here for a date night on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. It seems like a lovely, family oriented place with cheerful staff. The menu says that most of their dishes can be made gluten free. When I told the cashier I'd like to order gluten free she rushed back to "see if they have any pasta, otherwise it would take 30 minutes". Lucky for me they were good to go. I took it as they have a separate pot to boil the noodles. I ordered the Creamy Truffle Tuscany Pasta and it was soooo good. It was rich and the portions were large (my husband ordered the Baked Ziti, not gluten free and he loved his as well). The noodles were amazing. A lot of times gf noodles are chewy or taste like cardboard. Not this place! They were soft and reminded me of handmade, doughy gluten pasta. I didn't have a reaction! I'm so excited to have a yummy Italian place on the east side that seems pretty safe!“
“I was hungry the other day and not sure what I wanted to eat. Did the Ole Google food near me. I happened upon Pasta La Vista, looked at the menu and made an order. As I was placing the order on the website and I really couldn't believe the prices. I told myself there is no chance this will be good but for these prices who cares. I showed up when they said my order would be ready and sure enough it was already bagged up in their pickup area. The employees were super nice. I got home open the bag and was shocked at the portion size. At this point I was positive this food would be barely edible. Boy was I WRONG! The Lasagna was so good I ate the entire portion, it really is enough for two people. I do have to admit that I had a bit of a stomach ache after I ate but, that was fault. The food was so good I ate to fast and a bit to much. I have told multiple people about this place and can't recommend it enough!!!!“
“Bottega Michelangelo is always the constant in delivering great food, atmosphere and service. The Happy Hour menu is just enough in portions and quality. This allows us to order a few to share with friends. Cocktail pricing and quality is also great. A must try experience and maybe you too will make this a regular.“
“The culinary artistry and warm hospitality experienced at this establishment far exceed the conventional accolades, making a mere five-star rating seem inadequate. From the moment we entered, the wait staff embraced us with such genuine warmth and attentiveness, it was as though we had stepped into the comforting embrace of home. Francine, our server, was the embodiment of dedication, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional.Vincent, the owner, exemplified humility and a heartfelt commitment to his patrons. He made it his mission to personally connect with each visitor, ensuring that our culinary journey was not only satisfying but also memorable. His efforts to circle back and confirm our delight with the meal underscored a rare and commendable level of care and engagement. The Italian cuisine we indulged in was nothing short of remarkable, a testament to the treasured recipes handed down from Vincent's mother. It's a rarity to encounter such a harmonious blend of exquisite food and an outstanding team, which made our visit the highlight of our trip. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone at the restaurant for their unparalleled service and culinary excellence. And a special gratitude to Vincent, for sharing the legacy of his mother's incredible recipes with us, allowing us to partake in a truly unique gastronomic delight.“
“We had a good dinner here. The food is delicious. Unfortunately our waiter Chris S made us feel like we were a bother and it ruined what would have been a wonderful experience. He was rude and rushed us through dinner. There were many tables empty and we couldn’t figure out why he wanted to turn the table. Probably some of the worst service we’ve ever had.“
“Love love love the ambiance at Bear Canyon Pizza. The outdoor space is perfect for hanging out with friends or letting kids have a little more space to roam, a huge jenga kept our kiddos entertained. Food came out quickly and staff was very attentive. Nice size portions and they serve beer, wine, cut waters :) *we went on a dine out night, so the owners donated a portion of proceeds to a local elementary school. Love this!“
“Excellent food and excellent service!!We started with a Cesar salad that was very good. We then ordered the Margherita pizza and the Figgy Stardust. Both were delicious. We loved the flavors the Figgy Stardust had. It was sweet and savory. Highly recommend!Thank you Phil for taking care of us!“
“Believe me when I say this will be the ONLY REVIEW you will need to read about this Tucson classic "mom and pop". I never write reviews, which is absurd since I use them to make my decisions. It is possible that I do not write reviews out of pure laziness and hope others will take care of it or it is that I am on to my next adventure. Who knows? But I could not be lazy, hope for others to do the work, or move on until I wrote one. That should tell you something right there.Honest review: I asked the server what she recommended. She responded with Eggplant Parmesan. Eggplant? My experience had been that eggplant is rubbery, mealy, and thick. Ok...I thought. I guess. Then she added that I should get it "Joe’s Style". You may be asking what that is. Do not worry, so did I. Joe's Style is chili oil (don’t let the word chili scare you, it’s flavorful not spicy), garlic, and cheese. This Joe must know me personally. That combo right there was the deciding factor to move forward. If anything, at least there would be those three. So, I pulled the trigger, with a smile but with worry lurking just behind it. Let me add I was dining with a stranger. So, I was on my best behavior. Ok, I have set the scene. Let us get to the meat of the review. When I say the dish was amazing, I mean AMAZING! The pasta was homemade, the red sauce had the perfect robust tangy flavor, the Joe's Style...let this sink in... I would drink it as a cocktail if no one were looking...and finally the eggplant. If I were a vegetable, I would marry that eggplant. Who knew? It was so delectable! The end. Get the Eggplant Parm Joe’s Style, you will thank me later even though it is highly likely we will never meet.Parking: Parking was right off of Craycroft, easy access!Wheelchair accessibility: There were ramps and wide corridors.“
“love this place ♡ great Italian feel and the food is excellent. Our server Brandon was fabulous & tempted us with beautiful desserts, however we were very satisfied with the choices we had at lunch . We celebrated with a glass of wine which we considered our dessert. Lovely experience, we will be back for dessert sometime soon.“
“We first tried this place on my birthday 2 years ago and I was so impressed I have gone quite a few times since and today I went again and I was not disappointed everything was wonderful we got roasted Brussels sprouts, pizza and the house salad sometimes we get cheese bread we didn't today because we are trying to be more helpful. Christians customer service superb“
“Love this spot, a great place to eat, to shop, to relax, The environment is amazing! You have to see for your self, can't even expand it in great detail. Come down for your self definitely worth it. They have a few restaurants and a little cafe several retail stores with great quality items“
“This is the best New York style pizza in Tucson (the dough recipe is phenomenal). Great veggie topping options (Los Olivos pie) and their pastas are excellent too. (Former Za tosser and Italian chef).Vegetarian options: Los Olivos pizza is fire.Parking: 20 spots and extra“
“Quiet, dark lit restaurant. Ordered fettuccini Alfredo for take out. The server who to took my order and checked me out was very kind. Definitely a great spot for a date night. The Alfredo was delicious, creamy and flavorful. Definitely will be coming back.“
“Oh my goodness, pizza goodness that is! The best crust I have ever eaten. Family owned, homey environment, and delicious Italian dishes also. One person in our party cannot have gluten or much dairy, she said the GF pizza was perfect. Variety of beer and drinks. Definitely coming back with more friends. Highly recommend.“
“My daughter ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich and a calzone. When I got to my daughter's to eat, saw that the box had a chicken Parmesan with pasta instead of a sandwich. It was good. Sadie brought my order and she was nice. No complaints.“
“The food was excellent. I really didn't have major expectations after stopping in here, but I found that I enjoyed one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant in a super long time. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and attentive.“
“the food is so good/tasty, they have added a bit more selections to the lunch menu in smaller portions from the dinner meals. and they have an excellent affordable happy hour and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this restuarant stop by and enjoy some excellent Italian food.“
“My husband, daughter and I tried dinner here for the first time last night and were not disappointed! The atmosphere was very casual and the service and food were both amazing! We had the bruschetta, carbonara, pollo parm and finished off with a slice of cheesecake! I love that they brought the dessert selection out on a tray so you can see everything that’s available before choosing. The visual of the actual food sometimes sways you and makes all the difference! We will be back for sure and I can’t wait to try something new!“
“I've been watching Proof for a few weeks now and decided to give them a go for lunch. Kudos to their website and online food photos that look delicious enough to, well, eat! Anyway, I visited Proof at Philip's Plaza in Tucson for a late lunch at around 2 pm. The food: I tried the cheesy bread and the Polynesian Pie. First, the pizza. The pizza is about a 12-inch round and perfect for one person. You can tell this is an artisan pizza by the quality of the pizza crust and the freshness of the toppings. This crust is the perfect delivery vehicle for the toppings: soft, airy, and subdued, which allows the flavor of the toppings to shine. The pineapple, jalapeños, and cheese were fresh, tasty, and delicious. There was also prosciutto on the pizza, but the flavor of this ingredient was oddly absent. Still a great pizza, but I would like more prosciutto flavor. The cheesy bread was also good and had a nice garlic, cheesy flavor. I don't prefer the choice of crusty bread for this appetizer as having to gnaw my way through the bread detracted from enjoying the appetizer and getting to the cheese. Using a softer bread would have been better, in my opinion. Still good, though. The ambiance: Understated decor with both inside and outside seating. I sat outside in the covered seating area. There was a real New Orleans vibe going on because of the blues music playing. It rather took me back to NOLA. Great food in a relaxed, chill atmosphere. It looks like they do karaoke there, too. The service: Spot on, friendly, and attentive. You can tell the staff pays attention to the details and to their customers. So, overall, I very much recommend Proof to people who enjoy great pizza in a good environment. I would have given a 5-star review if the cheesy bread had been better, but that's my thing - I'm sure others like it as it is. Go there, relax, and absorb the scene of a great place.“
“This place has an incredibly friendly staff and a warm, welcoming establishment. Everyone here always takes good care of you and makes sure all needs are met. BZs is a fantastic and friendly local establishment that you should definitely check out if given the chance!“
“Tucked into a shopping plaza, Jimmy’s is literally a hidden gem when it comes to finding the best pizza in the Tucson area..Incredibly saucy sauce and tender crust, our two pizzas (a vegetarian called “Tree Hugger” and a pepperoni and black olive) were loaded with cheese and toppings. They were exceptional! Jimmy’s pizza is served piping hot by a very pleasant staff. The price was very reasonable: $68 for two medium pizzas, four soft drinks and a generous tip. We eat a lot of pizza on our travels and we have finally found the best!“
“Eating their yummy calzones and pizzas for years at the gem show on 22nd! This year they were super busy and got our order wrong. They offered to make it right but we know they are swamped and were more than happy with our pizzas instead of calzones! Thank you!!“
“5 stars aren’t enough! The best pizza place in all of Tucson (best quality if you dine in) staff members are incredibly accommodating and friendly. We have lived here for 3 years and this is my all time favorite restaurant now!!! Pizza and garlic bread are so delicious!“
“I was at this fine establishment this evening, and let me set the scene. My comrade in arms and I were having a feast when a wild pack of rabid javelinas came in and started laying waste to the restaurant. They ravaged through the dining area, and we heard screams as they broke into the kitchen and speared the staff with their steely tusks. Then, Alexei took note of the situation. At the top of her lungs, she cried "pizookie power!" Then, a set of rose gold armor appeared on her body, and it even came equipped with a marinara sauce fire hose. We watched awestruck as Alexie hosed those suckers down, and they ran crying from Alexie's fortress. After the javelinas left, the restaurant looked war ravaged. Marinara sauce and javelina blood lined the walls, but one section of the restaurant was left untouched: Alexie's section. Alexie is a hero deserving of a Congressional Medal of Honor. I salute you, queen. But for now, a raise will do. On behalf of Oregano's constituents everywhere, I requested Alexie be paid a third of the corporations profits hereafter.“
“I use Oreganos while in Tucson. Their specialty salad is phenomenal. The other food on the menu is also very good. We’ve been there a few times. Friendly staff and always virtuous. We went to the one on Valencia and was horrible. Will never go back to that particular one. Enjoy!“
“I can't remember the last time, if ever, that I posted to brag about a restaurant in Tucson. Finally!... found a place I will be sure to take anyone visiting from out of town. Fantastic; everything. If you live in Tucson, be sure to check this place out on 22nd and Harrison.“
“This review is not to brag on the food. This review is to brag on the service. Cory was amazing! He was witty. He was attentive. He was so fun to have as your server. We were not able to leave a survey response, so we wanted to come here in hopes that someone higher up let's Cory know he's doing an amazing job making his customers feel comfortable. Thank you. Cory!“
“Eating inside Reilly Craft Pizza is very loud, but if you have little ones with a lot of energy, desire a more romantic atmosphere, or want to have a conversation, outside is a great choice. The balcony is even better for sitting and relaxing. The food is great and the drinks, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic are great too. Enjoyed our night out with friends at Reilly's. The food was spot on, and we had no complaints. If you do sit outside, you have to order food and drinks at the bar, but then the wait staff will bring your food to your table.“
“My wife and I enjoyed our Sunday lunch but later she became ill, likely from her pre diabetic condition. We also made a forthcoming reservation for 8 but may decide to cancel as a precaution against repeating with that ongoing issue; we'll see if a change in menu items might avoid the problem.“
“Our go to when no one feels like cooking. Good fresh food, love the lasagna. Quick service. Super friendly staff and good management. Always clean eventhough it is busy. Great for families with affordable prices. Neighborhood favorite for us. Wish they had vegetarian lasagna also for a “
“I've been late with posting quite a few reviews but a few months ago, I had requested a large pepperoni pizza to be freshly for me and my girlfriend where we could eat at the food court and take the rest to go. We were accurately quoted a pick up time so we could still shop while waiting and the pizza was fresh and delicious upon our return. There were napkins and plates, crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese all neatly stocked as well. I am really happy to see Sbarro at this mall's food court! Great staff, clean layout and workspace, and surprisingly excellent quality since I remember back in the 90's!“
“Always good food and good service. Surprisingly busy on a Tuesday night so it was a bit noisy indeed the area where we were seated. The house salad was fresh and flavorful. They used to have a delicious seafood risotto but that is no longer on the menu. Our friend had the seafood linguine and pronounced it delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the local ipa so our beer drinkers were disappointed.“
“The food (chicken Parmesan) was fantastic, highly recommend it. The service was a little slow and they kinda stashed us away in the front room where no one else was seated so I think they just kept forgetting us. They were pretty busy though so can't say they just ignored us. The food made up for any feeling of “
“Olive Garden is always a good place to go for a good meal, whether it's the soup & salad or a good Italian meal, you can expect there to be plenty and taste good.Parking: This location is on the outskirts of Tucson Mall so parking is plentiful.“
“Homemade pasta was excellent. However, not as pleased with the sauces. Two of them were quite spicy with no warning of this on the menu description. The third was advertised as 30 clove Vodka sauce. Could not detect garlic in this dish. 4th diner had chicken marsala and loved it. the bruschetta was also excellent. So, mixed reviews on the food. Server was accommodating and professional. I would try it again but with different items.“
“Came in today a little bit ago, got me a Italian beef with cheese & hit peppers, and a Chicago dog with fries and a fountain drink. Food came out quick, was hot and extremely filling. I got the pleasure of talking to Mr Luke for awhile about Chicago, since most of my family is from there. It was nice to reminisce, and get some quality Chicago food I haven't gotten to eat in over a decade. Went to brag to my grandpa, and turns out he used to eat all the time at Mr Luke's location in Clarksville when he'd get a moments break from cop duties. Even got to purchase a jar of hot giardiniera, and it's a brand I know and love, but haven't been able to get locally really outside of ordering online. Mr Luke even threw in a jar of olives for free! 10/10 recommend and I'm absolutely be telling my friends and will be coming back!“
“This is the best deal in Tucson, and Tucson's best kept secret. Alloro D.O.C. at the top of the stairs of Tucson Hilton East. Friday night they have a Prime Rib special for $25.00. You get a sumptuous prime rib with au ju and choice of baked, or garlic mashed potatoes. The food, and service is always quick and delicious. Our host, server and som, and busser, was the restaurant supervisor. Monette carried the work load single handedly, and didn't miss a beat. She was very personable with a great attitude. They seem to be understaffed right now obviously, but you wouldn't have known that other than she was there to do everything for us, might I add very quickly and efficiently. Last time we were here we had delicious homemade cannoli's. Where can you get a quality steak in Tucson for 25.00 dollars? Friday night at the Alloro D.O.C. Hilton East is the only place in town with a steak at this great price. Not to mention the place is comfy, relaxing, and has a lovely esthetic and ambience, that puts one at ease. You will walk out of here feeling full and content. One more note, Fantastic 10 dollar glasses of wine are offered as well. Try the Washington vintage, H3 for a full bodied, rich, fruity cab that is drinkable with steak, or even sometime, as a stand alone. You may purchase your own at Safeway for under $20.00. Delicious! Alloro D.O.C. is a must do on your Friday night, after a tough week, or just a regular date night! Bon Appetit!Parking: They have a ramp going up the hill from the parking lot, and an elevator once inside if you need to bypass the staircase.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes ramp yes elevator, and use yes spacious between seats!“
“I went in today for Pi day, and I have to say.. The service was top tier for such a busy day!! Special shoutout to José and Bailey (I'm so sorry if I spelled your names wrong!!) for being so patient with a verbally aggressive customer. You two make all the difference in customer service. Anyone expecting little to no wait for a very afffordable pizza on the day of circles is absolutely bonkers. The wait was 100% worth it! ❤️ Thank you everyone working today, 03/14, for your kindness.“
“After trying this restaurant the first time we visited Tucson two years ago we wanted to enjoy a dinner there tonight. Sadly it was not to be. We were given bread and water and sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, it never happened and we left and found another place to dine. We'll find another Italian restaurant to dine at in the future.“
“I was craving lasagna all week long stopped in with a couple of friends ordered my own plate. It was a little too much for me. I should’ve shared that with my companion, but it was amazing. Very popular restaurant cold cold beer. I will be returning over and over try it out, you will not be disappointed.I normally take pictures, but it looks so yummy. I dove straight into my plate without stopping. Lol.“
“I usually eat at Olive Garden once a month, and I have visited several locations in different states and without a doubt: This location gets a 10/10. The service was excellent, Nicholas attended us, but from the Host, the manager and absolutely everyone was extremely attentive, helpful and the service was in good time. I congratulate you guys, I truly had a dinner and a moment with my family to remember.“
“my friend and I were walking around by the university and came back to eat not realizing they were closed at 11pm and they still served us . which I really appreciate that . food and service was awesome. we shared stuffed mushrooms and chicken Marsala which was out of this world . I would highly recommend. and our waitress was awesome. Thank you for serving us even though you guys were closing . we will definitely be back to try more on you're menu . Karen and Michelle“
“This place lives up to the hype. It's family owned with mostly a scratch kitchen (the cheesecake is not made inhouse). The complimentary bread was light and fluffy with a salted butter on top, so good. The stuffed mushrooms were full of flavor and the Monster Lasagna was delicious and absolutely shareable. Next time I'm trying the homemade desserts because the Napoleon and Tiramisu looked amazing on the table next to us and I can't wait to try them.“
