I always start with the Tavolino salad and get the Cotoletta Milanese and this night it was fantastic. My husband got the Penne alla Boscaiola. When his meal came the pasta was hot but the sauce was cold as in cold. Sent back and the kitchen remade his meal and it was also fantastic. He got the prosciutto & cantaloupe  appetizer that was also fantastic
This was our second visit to Tavolino. We enjoyed the first time and nothing occurred this time to change our perspective. We shared one of the bruschetta appetizers and it was excellent. My wife had the frutti del Mar pasta dish and enjoyed it though she found the calamari to be a bit chewy. I tried the squid ink pasta and enjoyed it. No dessert as we were plenty full.

Our visit to Tavolino on the occasion of my wife's birthday was quite enjoyable. The restaurant wasn't very busy on the Sunday evening. Service was attentive and well paced. Our meals were good, in particular the bruschetta appetizer. Will definitely return.
