“I stumbled across this place while in Tucson and let me tell you it's the best food and attention you can possibly get anywhere. Right away they make you feel comfortable and welcome really treat you like family, but that's not all iv ate just about everywhere in the area and they have some of best food ever Carne asada is delicious don't get me started with the quesaberria the menu goes on with everything being on point. clean friendly and delicious, the chef even came out to assure food was delicious and it was with a friendly hug and good bye I went on my way can't wait to get back.“
“This place is such a whole in the wall. It's also super easy to pass by unless you know what you are looking for. Their name presents itself as a traditional coffee and breakfast stop but what is surprising is that they also have an expansive and generous lunch and dinner menu with both a Mexican and Italian flair. I've been to this place twice while my boyfriend has come 5+ times and always comes back. The service is super friendly and the owner is flexible to make off menu drink combinations. If you want a different change of pace place for food that has options for anyone with different taste preferences, I recommend coming here!!!“
“I talk about all the time how the best fish tacos in the world are in tucson! Love driving from Phoenix to eat here. Outdoor seating and the casual vibes are great! Portion and price are fantastic. I love the fish tacos too much I haven’t tried anything else but next time I will(:“
“I would recommend this place! Food was delicious and generous in size..I split it with my husband and they even cut it in half and put on separate plates for us. The outside eating area is shaded and nicely landscaped and clean. The lady taking our order was very nice and helped us with our choice, since some words we did not know. Looking forward to going back during our winter escape to Tucson!!“
“Just visited today! I’m from Casa Grande, but has errands in Tucson. Hot day serves a cool treat! This place was awesome, and great service. I even picked up treats for my pup! When I’m back in town, I’m stopping again ! Oh a generous portion too!“
“Parked my truck at the truckstop across the street and saw this place and so glad I stopped. Great taco stand! Good came incredibly fast, owners were incredibly friendly, and the little litter seating area with the Christmas lights was a nice touch. I come from Houston, so there are plenty of choices where I'm from, but their carne asada burrito topped them all. My only regret was not having a bigger appetite to try the quesabirria tacos, but they look incredible too!“
“Love the punk rock music. Made the already amazing sushi next-level.I love sushi, just moved here and was worried I would be disappointed. I’m SO grateful this cart exists and I hope one opens closer to my house on the west side.We had a car picnic since it was raining. Killer rolls. Unique approach. The Abigail with seared salmon and the deep fried avocado rolls were to die for. My friend loved the lobster roll. Soooo good! Also made me look extra good bringing my friend here because she’s a total foodie and was in heaven.“
“First of all, amazing churros! Perfect consistency, amount of sugar, crunch. Heavenly! Sadly, I won't be going that often. The smallest order of churros is huge, that's a good thing, unless you're just one person. If they come up with a bag half the size and half the price, I'm all in!“
“I went to The Pit tonight and chose the Homemade Mediterranean food truck. The food was incredible! My hubby had the beef shawarma meal and I had the garlic chicken meal. they were so delicious. The servings are huge! neither my hubby or I could finish. I would tell you run, don't walk to try out their food....... so good!“
“This is definitely my first time going here and I was totally surprised. I was surprised first that I found the place because they're right behind the brewery. You can order food from the brewery and they will get it to you, but you have to find it and they will deliver it to the restaurant as well. The vegan comfort food was such a delicious and amazingly tasty food that I will definitely be back. The gentleman that was there was so friendly and helpful with ordering for my first time. if you are looking for a great plant-based getaway from the norm definitely visit here. Even if you're not vegan, you will love this place!“
“This guy has consistently the most inviting, happy personality. You can really tell he loves to serve people. Even if that wasnt the case his food speaks for itself! 10/10 One of my favorite places to eat lunch in tucson. Definitely recommend stopping here when you’re craving tacos!“
“If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Messylicious is seriously that good!!! The shrimp tacos... to die for!! I've been back 2 more times this week because I found myself non stop craving the taste of the most amazing shrimp Tacos ever! She is super friendly and you can tell she puts everything into her business. The birria is just as good. But right now my obsession is these tacos! Messylicious is a MUST TRY if you haven't already!“
“todo lo que se vende aquí está para chuparse los dedos el taco de pescado está súper sabroso y los cokteles ni se diga y algo que está perron son los aguachiles bueno todo lo que tú pidas aquí está delicioso y si no lo creen vengan a probar a y se me olvidaba que también la carne asada y los caramelos“
“I have tried many different Sonoran hot dogs in the Old Pueblo here, and I think I found the best. Very reasonable prices, very friendly and hard working one man operation who is out there practically 7 days a week, 12 hours a day! Get on down there already and give him your business, you will definitely be back!“
“The food is authentic and very tasty! Prices are cheaper than others in the area for quality and ice cold bottled coca cola is appreciated in this heat, or get a raspado a few yards away and order food for a taste sensation that will make you feel like you're special!“
“Update: Dropped in for a carne asada and a carnitas taco with a Mexican coke - just wow. Like my recent visit, the pork was so lean and delicious, the asada so flavorful, and $2! The tortilla is as good as it gets, this place is a special find. Highly recommend.“
“These carnitas food truck are a must stop if you see them. I usually get a Lb. of carnitas, they come with tortillas and you can pick as many salsas as you want. Their service is super friendly and prices are reasonable. They also have some tables and everything is clean.Parking: Food truck is inside an empty lot, so plenty of parking“
“My vegan meal looked fresh .The vegetables ,and tasted wonderful lots of flavor. The turmeric lemonade was good. The service was awesome. So many people put all the flavor in the meat, they forget about the vegetables. Anyways after my somewhat awful experience at another Mexican restaurant, this is was on point. So thanks a repeat place to go to.“
“Loved it. Had a half-n-half snakebite and flyin- hawaiian. Would probably just get a whole snakebite next time, but it was amazing! The family all tried a different pie, and all enjoyed it. Everyone said it was good, and we will 100% go again.“
“I love Sonoran Hot Dogs and this place has the best! These things are loaded and the bread is grilled topped with melted cheese! Yummmmmy! I would recommend this place as the best in Tucson this far and I've eaten at a lot of Sonoran Hot dog places.Vegetarian options: He has an option for a plant based Sonoran Hot dog.Parking: 10 spots“
“La comida de este lugar es auténticamente mexicana. La cabeza, tripa, carne con chile, que es lo que prové, están deliciosos. Parece que está uno comiendo en un buen lugar en México, pero en México, uno encuentra un lugar para tripa buena, otro para cabeza, y otro para carne con chile. Aquí encontré un lugar donde todo lo que me gusta está bajo un mismo techo.“
“Nice and clean place for a good meal. A solid four stars for the tacos, which I had, but the burrito and Quesabirria tacos were five star my son said. Service is fast and there are several tables. We were there on a Saturday so not much of a crowd. Prices are good and the hours are posted in the pic. Several people came buy and got "to go" orders. The portions are generous; especially the burrito. Don't get a burrito AND tacos. Don't ask me how I know.Parking: You can see from the pic there is room for several cars at a time.Kid-friendliness: The kids are welcome and it's a covered tent so they can play inside or in the parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: No barriers as it is located ground level and all the tables have moveable chairs.“
“Sushi Hana's food truck came to my place of work and was checking out their menu. The Heart Attack Roll caught my attention. While not something to joke about, i had to try it. This roll is esentially a stuffed jalapeño with crab meat and cream cheese. It was awesome, lived it. The lady taking my order was very friendly and curtious even though she had to be stressed from all the people and so many orders to keep track of. I can't wait to try their brick and motar store. I definitely would reccommend that you try this place.“
“Love this! It's rare that as a vegetarian I can get refried beans, so I was quite happy to get some delicious bean tacos!Super cute vibe love that it's women owned… Excellent homemade salsas and some really interesting sounding vegan options. Great prices too!“
“Best place to get a good burro, really friendly people that love to cook good food, they also have aqua fresca, and toppings to add like guacamole, salsa, limón, etc. while you’re waiting for the food to be cooked, their carne is BOMB but don’t let carne distract you from the other things they have in their menu ????And as of now I found out they take card so that saves me a BUNCH of time from going to the bank“
“We were looking for street tacos and wanted something fast and easy when we left the National Park. This place is amazing! Easy stop with some outdoor tables. The people working the food truck were kind and very fast. We had 5 kids ages (11-19). If you don't like spicy, get the salsas on the side. Go here! Don't over think this! The tacos are amazing and the homemade Horchata hit the spot!“
“Some of the best seafood boil in Tucson! We got the shrimp, sausage and red potatoes! Delicious and a lil spicy! Dinner for 2 for less than $35. Can’t beat it! I was surprised it was inside the food truck area of the swap meet!Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly“
“This place has AWESOME tacos! I eat a lot of tacos and make them at home on a regular basis. This place is legit. The meats are all on point, the toppings and the sauces. Many of the patrons don't speak english, which says something. The service is quick and friendly, no complaints. The atmosphere is low key and very plain, it reminds me of taco stands along the border. If you like real Mexican food, this is the spot.“
“I love getting the birria and cabeza would recommend to those around town or visiting. The salsa is fuegooo spicy but delicious. Perfect to top your tacos with the Pico, guacamole and some lime that is offered . This could be your spot for lunch come get put on game.“
“Asked for a chicken burrito with beans, cabbage and cilantro, no rice Paid $10 and change. it was stuffed with rice not many beans but something moist.. the only chicken was really tiny little bits of dark meat chicken. I guess I should have confirmed that it would be white meat. for the price I did expect white meat chicken . Overall very disappointing and gross. I couldn't tell if it was pork or chicken and I was upset because I can't eat pork so I dumped the whole thing outside for a stray animal to come and eat it.“
“I participate in my own Food Truck Friday, and since I got a new job, I've been venturing out and trying different trucks. I came across this gem today and was absolutely NOT disappointed. I got the quesa-monster, and it definitely lived up to its name! They let you choose 5 ingredients form their list to pile into this quesadilla, and they do not skimp on any of it at all. They cut the quesadilla in half, but put together it was like the size of my head! For only $10.25, it was well worth the price. I'll be coming back over and over, even if its not Food Truck Friday. 10/10 Full recommendation.“
“Acceptable food truck. The service was welcoming and professional. My only complain is that they take a long time to serve your food yet once the food came we were please. We got 5 tacos and the quesabirria. We really like that they make the tortilla at the food truck. The carnitas were amazing and so the quesabirria. When it comes to the salsas we didn’t like them, yet other than that the food was good. I will recommend this food truck and I will be returning.Parking: Parking between the car wash and the food car.“
“I just discovered Reds this evening thanks to Uber eats, and I am glad I did, ordered a trio of tacos for supper they arrived pretty quickly loades with meat that was tender and savory seasoned to perfection im still salivating, I will be stopping by in peson for my next round though even quick delivery would be too long to have to wait“
“I really like the carnitas they prepare there. And they are very attentive to their customers and the girl at the checkout is very kind, thank you very much Natalie ☺️☺️Parking: Nebraska corner with walnut trees awayKid-friendliness: Of course“
“The German Food Station is @the farmer's market in Green Valley every Wednesday from October thru April. Their menu is limited, but they offer sehr gut (very good). Andrea & her husband, Max, transplanted von Deutschland (from Germany). He does the cooking & she does the order-taking & serving. A German butcher makes all of their items, from their own recipes. I've had the currywurst, spicy paprika brat & the land jaeger, all authentic and delicious. Andrea has personality+. Yesterday I also purchased 2 packages of their precooked wursts (sausages) to take home to grill. I can hardly wait 'til they return in October!“
“Always pass by this food truck located in a very sketchy neighborhood off of Miracle Mile. Service was good and prompt. From my point of view, the little kitchen appeared to be clean. I had the large caramelo Carne asada. Will try their Sonoran hotdogs or their burrito wrapped in bacon later. My credit card noted this transaction as Mr. Dogos.“
“The birria and cabeza are great, but it's not like it's difficult to find great birria or cabeza in Tucson. IMO there are a couple of things that set La Vaca apart from the pack:- Bomb corn tortillas. There are a few other places in town that have a reputation for great corn tortillas, and El Corral de la Vaca should really be one of them. They're a little on the thick and hearty side, which makes them a great supporting player for...- The Vacas: Big, ultra-thick quesatacos that need to be eaten with a fork and knife. These offensively decadent, meat sweat-inspiring dream boats are wrapped in one of those extra chewy tortillas, griddled crispy, and oozing cheesy beefy goodness out all sides. Hits just right with a little of the hot red salsa and some cilantro and onion.- The decor: I love the cute, kitschy cow decor including a big mural and novelty napkin holders on all the tables- The people: This place is run by really nice people who sell a fantastic product. I'm surprised that it took me so long to stop in here but I'll definitely be back“
“If you haven't tried this food truck your missing out. Fresh everything. Won't be disappointed. Try & eat here at least once a week! Cabreza taco are the best. The roasted peppers n fresh cucumber are just the perfect touch, the lemon or lime wedges just set it off.“
“Moved to Tucson a year ago from the East coast. NY/NJ and though we love Tucson the food here just does not compare. We're always on the hunt for food that is even close to home. We have tried every Jamaican restaurant in town and they come close but never close enough. Desperate for some beef patties today on this Sunday afternoon we found cool runnings. Let me just say. They run hot 10/10 they must be driving that truck from the east coast 4 days a week i'm convinced.“
“Had a medium hot latte with vanilla syrup. It was good but not amazing as the coffee itself tasted a little watered down or maybe not as bold as I expected. Regardless it was good price point, nice service and convenient location (open lot at base of Sentinel Peak).“
“This place is incredible. I had the barristas favorite drin which was the white chocolate lavender latte. Best latte I've had in Tucson. Very welcoming, friendly and informative. Also, great Vegan options. 10/10 definitely going again.“
