“Tried it for the first time today - apparently newcomers get a special welcome! I got the combo with pork and beef. The more I ate, the better it tasted as everything mixed together. I had to stop myself so I'd have enough for leftovers. Will definitely go again and try other options.“
“I was there yesterday . A great experience . They take great care in the prep and how they keep the meat warm and moist . I had the brisket sandwich , options are chopped or sliced . It was exceptional with their own bbq sauce. I also got the pork ribs to go and tried them last night . Very tasty. They have a great bar and outdoor patio . It was nice that the owners were floating around and asked me how I was enjoying things. I will be back with a bunch of bbq lovers“
“First timers get a free treat, which is awesome, but we will be back for sure. The staff was super helpful in explaining everything and what their suggestions were. We got two combo bowls, one with beef and gf fried chicken, and another with bbq pork and bbq beef. They threw in a couple of free pot stickers and gave the gf order some extra fried chicken. Please bring one of these to the northwest side of town.“
“This was our first time eating here. The location was easy to get to, & plenty of parking. We were seated right away. The waitress ask if we had been there before, she told us that they used heavy spices, but could ask for a lighter covering. I ordered a full rack of ribs, & they were heavily seasoned. They were tender and tasty. The mashed potatoes & broccoli were very good. The buck & a half salad was better than I expected. The complimentary bread was good too. Wife ordered a good cut of steak, it wasn't as good she expected compared to a lesser priced restaurant. I had a small piece & concur. It was nice going out to a popular steak house, but I remember why we go to less expensive places. The other person in our party didn't have any opinion.“
“Kiss of Smoke was ok. Not the best BBQ in town and certainly not the worst. I had the ribs, brisket, and green beans. The ribs were meaty, super tender and pretty good. The brisket was ok. I'm not breaking my neck to get back for more but I didn't hate it either. The green beans were straight out of the can with about 11 granules of seasoning on them...they could've definitely used some love.I'd probably come back, I love to support the local businesses in town. I'll probably go with the sausage next time. I tried a piece and it was delicious!“
“Loved it! waaaay better than Rudy's TX BBQ or a Famous Dave's. Brisket, pulled pork, potatoes salad, Mac n' cheese, onion rings and slaw were DELICIOUS ?. worth trying. we happen upon it thru GOOGLE. We not from AZ, just visiting. Small inside, plenty of outside room.“
“5 Stars is not enough. I have been around and tasted many a BBQ. Ken's is definitely in my top 5. I had the Big Smokehouse Sandwich w/ Mac n Cheese & Collard Greens for sides. Everything was so good I almost cried. Very nice people too! Real hospitality.“
“All the food was cooked very well except the french fries were not crispy, pulled pork was dry, and pork ribs which were slightly dry. They lightly seasoned their food.We had the Q platter for $37. It is like sampler plate with everything but 1 meat item(I forgot which). The meal can feed 2-3 people easily.I liked the pork ribs because it had the most flavor and it would fall off the bone even though it was a little dry.The French fries were more like steak fries. They needed to be cooked at a higher temp because there weren't crispy and some were under cooked. The bread was lightly buttered. The Mac and Cheese has the same flavor as boxed Kraft Mac and Cheese. The only thing I was disappointed with.Note: they give 4 different types of sauces(spicy BBQ, sweet BBQ, mustard, and x BBQ. I am not a sauce person so that may improve how the food tasted.“
“I was curious to see how the grilled shrimp ? would turn out. It was nicely charred and smoky and the shrimp were perfectly made. And those onion rings are the kind you want to get seconds of. Crunchy, hot, onion rings can't be beat. The coleslaw with Granny Smith apple slices make the sweet and tangy flavor come out in a way that's not overpowering. Thanks to everyone on staff tonight. You all worked hard and that's why this is a lit spot for BBQ. You're dope!!“
“Interesting place ...very inviting staff.I am not accustomed to seeing an elaborate 'meat' display area as part of the atmosphere thought I was in a butcher shop at first.....ok..my one and only criticism is that it is time for an expansion...felt a little cramped for space inside the restaurant...prices were very affordable ?..“
“This business already appears to be closed and has been for several weeks. Not sure what problem caused this. It was only open for 8 or 9 weeks. I was really looking forward to trying it. I hope the issue will be resolved soon and it will reopen.“
“It's been a very long time since I've had a perfectly cooked prime rib...I even ate it all. I haven't eaten that much in months, it was so good I can't wait to go back...?Wheelchair accessibility: Large enough venue to accommodate a wheelchair.“
“Went to lunch on Thursday and Friday at Angry Crab on Grant and out server Rafa was so kind and good customer service with us , nikita as well came out and helped very kind aswell and funny. Will definitely be coming back here soon!! Everything was “
“We were greeted right away and both men behind the counter were really chill and nice. One of them gave us recommendations which helped us choose what we wanted. We really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back. We recommend trying them out.“
