L&L is a nice addition to Tucson's dining scene, especially if you're looking for some healthier options. I've had the BBQ chicken mini and light plates and the chicken has been tender and flavorful both times. The light plate comes with a salad (macaroni salad for mini and regular plates,) but the dressing options are limited, so I opted for the mini plate on my second visit. Stopped by here for the first time yesterday to get a little bit of Hawaii. The food and people were excellent. The katsu was juicy and crispy. The curry was mild with a nice flavor. The musubi including the spam and chicken was delicious. The rice was perfect. There's also just something about Hawaiian macaroni that is so yummy.
