“I've been enjoying Mona's frybread and tamales for at least 18 years and have found none better! The awesome red chili is cooked on mesquite wood! I live in Tucson and the 27 miles one way to Mona's is well worth the drive! The tamales are good-sized and the masa to meat ratio is great! Also, no fillers like potatoes, carrots, etc. Mona always asks if we want olives. Hubby really likes her green corn tamales, but I'm stuck on the red! I can't recommend Mona's enough!“
