My husband and I had a great dinner, service was great. I heard they were bought by the Indian twist guy, and Im not sure how I feel about him, but the staff is the same and I have had the same great Italian food there for years!
A large group of us set on the Amore patio last night. The cocktails were fun and refreshing and the food was delicious! I really recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Wood Fired Bread, but everything we tasted was amazing. Thank you Chef Jimmy and staff!
Great location. Good vide. Took ling for food. We did get the chicken tikka pizza and it hit the spot!!!
Wood fired pizza was awesome, sauce was great, prices were good, service would improve with a little more staff but otherwise a great place for lunch or dinner.
The restaurant was a place we had looked forward too because of the pasta smothered inside a cheese wheel. It gave the pasta an incredible taste. Toasted ravioli and a tiramisu rounded it out.
We both really enjoyed our food. Excellent quality diner food. My chopped salad was super tasty and filling.
Always great.
Disappointed in the Italian / Indian combo restaurant

Tonight we carried out from Vero Amore-Dove Mountain. We had a wide variety of appetizers and entries. The clams and mussels appetizers are great size for sharing or would easily make a meal for an individual. The bread boule and the cheesey bread are a must. They are delicious with the heavily herbed butter and even better dunked in the mussels and clam liquor. The Cioppino was loaded with clams, mussels and calamari. The red sauce was well seasoned and complemented the seafood. Our kids had various pizzas that were fresh and handmade. The prices were an excellent value for the amount and quality. $13 to $28 per entree. There was one small snafu with the online ordering, but the manager was on hand to iron it out. I highly reccomend this restaurant and will definitely be a regular customer.

It took more than an hour to get food, and eventually, I had to get it to go. I don't like spending $80.00 on to go for two. Especially when I drove from Phoenix to meet someone.

Always excellent. Taking visiting friends this weekend.
First time here. Ordered 3 pizzas for 4:30 pickup. 25 minutes late and counting. No one updated me even though I’m sitting right in front of kitchen. Hope the pizza is better than their ability to cook it on time😄. I waited to post until we and our friends tasted the pizza. Maybe we have different expectations and pizza experiences but I cannot even come close to recommending this restaurant for pizza. They do have many Italian dishes that we have not tried.

We are new to the Tucson area and this is our 4th restaurant in search of a Pizza place we want to return to. Bottom line is we are still looking. We got Pepperoni, Italian Sausage & Black Olive. The sausage was diced in identical little ~3/8 inch squares as in very likely frozen packaged like what would be on a grocery store frozen Pizza. Sadly, Vero Amore did Not do it for us! The service was good though!!

Overall 4-star review because I'm not a bad person, but it will take me a while before I try this restaurant again. Service is BAD. We were never offered refills on water or soda (or asked if I wanted another cocktail) until we were finished with our meal and simply asked "Need anything?" Would have rather heard "How was everything?" "Oh, let me get you a refill". These are basics that any server should know. And they weren't busy, I saw all the staff hanging out with eachother (which is fine with me if it's slow, but at least make sure beverages are full). I ordered a soup and wasn't told until the rest of the food came that they were all out of soup. I would have changed my order. And my boyfriend ordered his pasta entree with no parsley, and it did indeed have parsley. The quality of food was actually fine, and the limincello mule was great, but bad service when the restaurant is slow is a hard no for me. Maybe I will again, but would order takeout.
