Never had a food item of sort. Can only compare to a wrapped pizza, but dough was like a fresh biscuit

I was glad they were open but the visit ended up being disappointing since our orders were mixed up even though the place was nearly empty. The atmosphere was nice but the food was mediocre and the mistake killed my appetite, so I am not sure I would come back.

3.5 stars***I had the Pilgrim, which is like leftover thanksgiving dinner in a Pasty. It would have been great had it not been for the turkey inside which was a little gamey. Served with their signature gravy - delicious but lumpy. That texture may gross some people out. Also served with cranberry sauce. It actually tasted like leftovers. So, good but not great.

I also ordered the apple pie pasty. I ordered it cold and brought it home. I cooked it in a buttered cast iron pan, in the oven, per their instructions, and served it with vanilla ice cream on top. It was very good, but again not great. The apple pie from Costco is better and so is the Blondie at Applebee's for comparison.

The service we happened to receive that day was atrocious. She never set the table. Appetizer got cold waiting on utensils. Never got refills. I thought maybe they were short staffed but even when the lunch crowd died down things never sped up.

Used to be great now the pastys are just bland, went to both the locations to confirm it. Even the tandoori were just bland and tough

Love coming to Pasty's whenever I am in town. I had a Guinness and the cottage pie pasty. Even though the bartender/server was working alone today, he did a great job communicating and we were very happy with the service.

We were there on a Wed afternoon at 2:30p - very quiet, during other visits on weekends or evening the atmosphere is active and louder, service & food has always been excellent regardless of day or time we've visited.

My latest visit to Cornish Pasty Co. in Mesa was excellent. The classic Oggie pasty was delicious, with a perfectly flaky crust and flavorful filling that felt fresh and comforting. The menu has a ton of variety, so there's something for everyone, whether you want a traditional pasty or something like their Chicken Tikka Masala.
The service was also a definite standout. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful suggestions. The moody, dark pub atmosphere is inviting and feels both cozy and vibrant.
If you're in the mood for some seriously good comfort food and a casual, unique place to hang out, Cornish Pasty Co. is worth checking out. It's a reliable spot that delivers great food and good feels.
