“We have been getting lechon from Phoenix Lechon Roasters because they cook it the traditional Filipino way and not in the oven. The last one was for a wedding celebration. After 2-3 hours, the skin was unbelievably crunchy, tastes like home to me.“

“I tell people this is one of my happy places. It's a favorite place to come back to every time I'm back in town. The owner is so very nice and even though I hadn't been here in a few years due to being in another state, she recognizes me right away as one of her original customers when she first opened. I have brought friends and family here because the food is so good and the reception is so warm. I was back yesterday for the first time in ages and ordered my favorite, the pork belly was two sides, the cucumbers and the macaroni dalad. They no longer carry iced coffee but she referred me over to the Tea Snow place a few doors down where I got a delicious Vietnamese coffee to go with my meal. The Pork Belly still had the wonderful flavor I remembered, the rice, cucumbers, and macaroni salad what perfect and even after I finished eating I stayed for a while just to enjoy the wonderful aromas in the air. I'm hoping to get back for the pancit and lumpia soon and of course the sinigang.“
