“My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviewsWe went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W.Sally & Dave Perry“

“Phenomenal experience. Location, ambiance, food and service were nothing less than spectacular. Everything was outstanding. The food was exquisite and the service was incredible. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and would make anyone’s dining experience even more enjoyable. This is by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.“

“I just spent my first time going to Ocean 44 and I must say, this is one of the best restaurants I had ever been to. When I took my wife there they really took care of us. Any questions we had about the menu they made sure they walked us through the whole menu so knew how everything works. They took care of us just as good as being at a life loan Doctors office. “Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We were right next to the payment station so there was a lot of wait staff traffic, but that was just bad luck. We weren't impressed with the bread (although it smelled heavenly when it came out) or the deviled eggs. The eggs had a crispy small shrimp on top that was super good. But the yolk mix was pretty bland. Also had clam chowder that was good. The stand outs for us were the gratin potato side and the steaks. Be careful with the potatoes. The cheese is pretty much molten lava. Give them a good five minutes to cool down. My husband had the 12 oz NY strip and I had the 12 oz Australian NY strip. Both were cooked so perfectly. We'd go again but given the expense probably only for super special occasions.“

“First time in. WOW! It was amazing. Beautiful spot with a great patio. Had Scallop Crudo, Foie Gras, Octopus and Strawberry-Marzipan Shortbread. All beautifully plated and delicious! Nice bar and excellent wine program; I had an excellent glass of Grand Cru Riesling from Alsace France. Service was excellent; professional and friendly. Owner May even stopped by. Impressive! Can't wait to visit next time in AZ!“
