Amazing experience, bread is delicious. I may or may not have eaten the entire loaf we made in class in a few hours.

This was an incredible experience. I loved every moment of it. I would highly recommend it and would take it again. I feel confident moving forward to make my own sourdough. Nicole is fantastic, and I really appreciated watching her show the group how to do everything. I honestly could not tell that the class was over four hours long. It is so fun and immersive that the time flies by. The group setting and all the questions asked really helped me gain clarity and answered my questions as well. Lastly, the bread was phenomenal.

I attended the Gluten-Free Sourdough class, and it was so fun! Nicole is a wonderful teacher. We learned the history of sourdough, its benefits, how to properly maintain it and use it for baking. I gained so much knowledge and confidence in my own sourdough baking skills! This is new for me, so it is a great class for beginners. Everything is made with the highest quality and I love that. I highly recommend attending a class!

I felt like I was being taught by a true expert. Nicole understands the science behind making sourdough bread and because of this she is able to teach with thoroughness and accuracy. Every detail of class seemed to be prepared with love; her home is very welcoming—she even has backyard chickens! I went home feeling confident and made my first loaf of sourdough the next day—it was delicious. She also shared her wisdom on healthy ingredients and how to get the best flavor in your sourdough. I’m so grateful that I went to this class because I will use this skill for the rest of my life!

This was a class on baking heritage old world grain breads. Definitely recommend taking this class. Learned so much about starter yeasts for making sourdough bread and so much more.
Also Nichol was a fantastic speaker and teacher along with the rep from oatman
Farms. I now have confidence in making bread properly. Added bonus is you get to also meet a great group of people taking the class along with you. Lots of fun and working together.
Thanks Nichol

I recently took a “Sourdough for Beginners” Class by Nicole and she was amazing. She provided me with the knowledge and tools to bake expert quality loaves (despite my previous failed attempts going at it alone). Pictured is my first loaf (made completely independently after I took the class).

Nicole did a great job of teaching the class at an understandable pace and kept it fun. Provide guidance on every step of the process. Let us taste bake and take home our own everything we needed to start our own journey

I took a sourdough making class at this urban farm home in Mesa. Nicole taught the 4.5 hour class and is thoroughly knowledgeable in all things sourdough. She is warm and inviting and the class was a joy to be in. We learned about sourdough starter and how to care for it and then made a loaf of country sourdough. We also learned how to laminate our dough. It is a hands on experience. We then took home our very own starter, a loaf of bread dough to make at home, a cooked loaf that we made in class, an instruction booklet, a packet of dried starter.
A wonderful learning experience.

I took the sourdough class and it was so worth it! I’ve been wanting to start baking sourdough but was intimidated by the process. Having someone teach me in a class was so helpful and beneficial! The class was run so well and I learned so much! We had the opportunity to make our own starter to take home, bake a loaf that was already half way through the process, and start another loaf to take home and bake. I learned so much about keeping your starter alive and happy. I learned so much about the process of making a boule. I will be forever thankful for this opportunity to learn from Nicole and highly recommend her for classes and her sourdough!
